hey guys does any one know when the fixture comes out.

first the association has to wait for all clubs to submit how many teams they are having and what grades they would like to be in. the final day for entries would be sunday the 31st (aug) but there are always a hand full of teams that still dnt have it in so they have to be chased up. from there it wood b around 1 to 2 weeks

All u talk about is what u have done with the kids

Any moron knows the only way to have successful clubs is to have juniors. Juniors are the lively hood of every club. So what if wepons coaches, plays or does anything else with kids !!!!!!!!!!!!!

God I wish I was here 2 years earlier I can't believe the dribble that comes out of some blokes mouths.

Re: North West Cricket Association

OK caught up on all the gos and rumours. Now let's see.Where do I start.

First have you blokes got Presidents and Secretaries at your club? I do. All your guessing and false accusations, just go and ask your Prez or Sec and they'll tell you what's going on about the grounds, Sunday cricket and anything else you want to know. We all get emails about everything so obviously your Prez & Sec's don't pass on the info to you like they should.

I can't beleive the crap that some of you make up.

Having a go at people who volunteer their time to help our clubs by joining the board or Senior committee. Well why don't some of you know alls help out, you'd get more straight answers than the dribble that's here and yes I put my hand up this year for the Senior committee.

So what if Ray Marshall sticks up for his club all of us do and no I don't play for TLCC.:p Terry Scott works harder than everyone here put together for the sake of the NWCA so put your hand up or shut up, simple really.

Young kids on this forum, at least a few people have the good sense not to knock these kids.Remember we all get past the use by date and these kids are our clubs future.

Money, well that takes the cake. Cricket used to be about fun, mates playing together getting the family involved with your club etc. I know times have changed but who gives a rats who is getting paid what? It's none of anyones business.

Merger speak to your delegates they know what's going on.

Afternoon teas over the past 30 years or so well that goes hands down to CCC followed closely by TLCC. GPCC a hot cuppa and sangers would be good don't go for tim tams or arnotts shapes very much LOL

Great to see lots of off field debates but some of you need to pull your heads in. Ever heard the saying "what goes on on the field stays on the field"

My predictions this season top 4 only

Taylors
Pacco
Gladdy
Camp

And no I don't play for any of these clubs either

Just a thought based on some rumours and crap I've read here.
Mind you it is good reading and I love reading the low down:cool:

Re: North West Cricket Association

Can someone please explain why you need a clearance to join a club in the NWCA? Yet will every other comp you don't need one unless your changing clubs within that Association.

Re: North West Cricket Association

I think its so we keep results vault accurate and we dont have the same player with different rv numbers. If players have to be cleared they can be changed in results vault.

Are you going to sign it?

On behalf of the Gladstone Park cricket club we would like to offer our deepest sympathies to the Mills family and the Buckley Park Cricket Club

Paul was a fantastic bloke and a great cricketer will be sadly missed by all who played with him and against him. Always a fantastic competitor and great to talk to of the field, as honest as they come

Thanks for the pos reply glady boy but I'm just a person who cares about cricket and making sure all kids get a fair go.
Not to be insensitive but what happened to Millsy. OMG what a shock to read that, only just saw your post.

Have a few blokes here now and we know you wouldn't make that up but we can't believe it so to speak. Sympathy to all at BP and his family

Re: North West Cricket Association

bomber27 clearances are needed due to the fact the NWCA have had alot of people who think they can cheat the system. They play under bogus names, are suspended from other comps and should not be playing. Some owe money to the clubs they are leaving and think they can just walk away leaving the debt as they go. NWCA aren't the only ones with this policy there are alot of Associations not on this side of town who require the same. Results vault also helps keep things in line and operates well when all is done above board.
I suppose if people didn't try to cheat then it would be alot easier. I've seen some unreal ways teams have tried to cheat over the years so if youv'e got nothing to hide why fear getting a clearance?

Re: North West Cricket Association

Hey guys, I just got my a@#e kcicked by the Mrs I only just told her about the VIP night at Harvey Norman at Broady on Wednesday night. Its for the NWCA members and everything is cost price plus 5%.
6PM-8PM only. Your Prez & Secs where sent emails weeks ago. I just forgot.
You need a copy of the email to get in and it's got on the bottom to contact Sharon Gibbs. Gibbos, Mrs from Campbellfield. She's organised it.

In goin I'm gonna get a new mower and Plasma Tele.
You better contact your club Prez or Dec about it. Her number is on the email so I don't supose it wouldn't do any harm to give it to you just contact me if you want the number or better get a copy from your club as you need to copy it to get in. Me and a few of the boys are going and taken the Mrs along so she'll be happy for a while anyway. Shopping ha !!!!!!!!!!:D

Re: North West Cricket Association

Good on Sharon for organising this but the fact of the matter is you need 50% off at Harvey norman to be affordable that place is a disgrace, only morons who need to buy stuff over 4 years interest free shop at that place anyone with cash knows better.

Re: North West Cricket Association

Actuallly gladdy boy, I went down there with the Mrs on Sunday for a bit of a look and some of the prices where really cheap. When I asked about a TV and a mower the prices where a hell of alot cheaper than anywhere else. They also said on the nwca night you can pay cash, laybye or use credit card interest free all that stuff. I went off and compared a few things and they where bloody cheap at Harvey Norman. Don't know how long since youve been there but the Mrs says that most of the stuff in there is cheap and they offered us discounts on the spot for a TV. So if everything is cost +5% I'd say it's worth it.BTW I told them we'de be using cash and some laybye stuff and we got quoted cheaper even for the laybye stuff. We came home and the Mrs checked some pamphlet things you know the junk mail and Harvey Norman where still cheaper.
