And for some NWCA news....fixtures should be out on wednesday....would have been out earlier but resultsvault was down!!!

Everyone's gone quiet.
Must all be out of junk rumours.

Was reading the mmvca site, apparently GP have got their hands onto two handy bowlers, pitts and some other fella fitzy (fitzgerald?)

Can anyone shed some light?

that rumor is actually true. they both young very good cricket players, pitts will open there bowling for the ones and fitzy will bowl first or seccond change, they will strengthen gladstone parks bowling attack

that rumor is actually true. they both young very good cricket players, pitts will open there bowling for the ones and fitzy will bowl first or seccond change, they will strengthen gladstone parks bowling attack

Well they need it. Keats is well past his used by date, and i'm sure deep down he knows it too. Hope he can prove us wrong this season, but i doubt it.

At the end of last year i might have agreed with you but in his defence he has dropped a few kgs and had a massive preseason and bowling as quick and as well as when he arrived at the club. I wouldnt write him off yet.

For the record still took 20 wickets and won a bowling average for a top 4 club last year.

At the end of last year i might have agreed with you but in his defence he has dropped a few kgs and had a massive preseason and bowling as quick and as well as when he arrived at the club. I wouldnt write him off yet.

For the record still took 20 wickets and won a bowling average for a top 4 club last year.

have heard that campbellfield have picked up jason carton and noddy carton and a guy called freefy
has anyone out there played against these guys and if so what are they like

Freethy was a gun bowler past his best now, big fella will still do okay

Jace is a handy pick up played for them the year Darren first coached but was limited due to work, him and freeth will open the bowl for them.

Noddy is a very good cricketer if he is switched on could be inside the best 10 players in the comp, sounds to me like Chinga Carton has done a fair bit of the recruiting this year.

Campbellfield will be a fair bit stronger if that is true I still think top 4 may be out of reach, but who knows.

how did you get the fixtures, results vault is sending me to some other crappy website and you have to have a password or something to use it!!!! pissed off bad:mad:

how did you get the fixtures, results vault is sending me to some other crappy website and you have to have a password or something to use it!!!! pissed off bad:mad:

Played against Noddy, can bat but seems to let himself down more often than not. Bowls ok, loves a sledge but not very good at it. I'm always amazed at serial sledgers that aren't great at it as it seems to put alot of pressure on their own game. Had a fair crack at me one day which I found amusing as in the end I think even his team mates could see he was over stepping the mark. In the end you can't make 15 and take none fa, and be in the side for your sledging ability!

Played against Noddy, can bat but seems to let himself down more often than not. Bowls ok, loves a sledge but not very good at it. That crappy website is My Cricket results vault is no more this is what we use from now on.

You have to have it customised to your club then click view upcoming matches and punch in the dates you can only view one month at a time.

This is the only way to see your fixture until league post it properly which I would imagine would happen later today

My Cricket is the new Results Vault.If you are having trouble logging in go to the RESULTS VAULT site and there is a picture of MY CRICKET on the front page click on that and it will take you to where you need to be. There are a few Mycricket(SIMILAR) sites within Cricket Victoria and it gets confusing. Best way is to log in through the results vault site using your same log in details. You still only have the same log in rights as previously. Get use to it know guys cos this is it. All over Victoria now everyone has to use it

My Cricket is the new Results Vault.If you are having trouble logging in go to the RESULTS VAULT site and there is a picture of MY CRICKET on the front page click on that and it will take you to where you need to be. we are all getting older but this is how i see it.
no doubt these players will omprove the clubs hopes of winning games BUT i doubt it will be enough to make a huge difference.
Freethy is certainly a great medium pacer, a left armer who moves the ball all over the place.
Jace has not played a full season of cricklet for years and i highly doubt he will committ the way CCC wish he would. If he does i think he can be a big wicket taker. Noddy - big question marks.....played in the NWCA for years and didnt make a heap of runs.....just one big innings is all i can remember.

Just my opinion as we all differ. But well dont to CCC for getting out there and recruiting.Im sure chinga has been very generous!
