Today will be the 4th game in the last 3 years that a game between us and Paccoe has been weather affected, very freaky stat.

I can tell you all with absolute certainty that "Barney's Mate" is NOT a player or member of the Campbellfield Cricket Club!!

We at CCC have not and would not ever question the depth of the Gladstone Park Cricket Club, they are a fantastic side and we are very happy to have matched it with the benchmark in the competition!!

So again I can assure you all that whoever this guy is he is not a player at the Campbellfield Cricket Club!

I will second that. I am not from CCC. However, that does not mean i am not one of Barneys mates. Sorry to CCC for making them look arrogant on this forum.

It's the biggest game of the year for both Buckley Park and Campbellfield. The winner is a good chance to play finals the losser can kiss the season good-bye and start planning for next year.
I hope for Campbellfield's sake they arn't getting ahead of themself after a huge win last start. Could make them ripe for the picking this start. Be Careful Mighty CCC - One game at a time! Last week is gone.

We are certainly not getting ahead of ourselves, we know one of the hardest things for a side that has struggled is consistency and we are working very hard to get that!

I was just answering MB24's comments and just reminding him that his is not the only team going in with a strong batting line up!

I agree this is our biggest game so far and one we cannot afford to let slip!! A big finals chance awaits the winner for the loser its almost certainly curtains!!

You work on consistency champ by making sure you are doing the simple things well! By training hard and making sure you dont get ahead of your selves!! As straightbat said last game is behind us so we have to concentrate on this week!

So specifically, our batsmen are working on bulding innings not just blasting and getting out! and our bowlers are working bowling consistent tight lines and being able to bowl longer more consistant spells rather than bowling 3 good overs and 2 poor overs!

Thats all it is and its very simple, its what the best teams: Gladdy/Taylors/Pacco do easily, but when you have struggled for a while like we have its something you need to work at!

That settle it for you mate??

Maybe if you spent more time thinking about the cricket and less time unfairly slagging off good blokes in our comp and giving CCC a bad name by saying your frrom our club, which you are NOT!! then you would have already known that!!

In regards to slagging off, I say it as I see(or hear) it Champ. There are a few that need to be put back into line, be reminded they play in a "small, insignificant" Comp and have done for years because it's easy and they're too scared to test themselves out in the real world.

not too sure about the gladdy players but i know for a fact that they have signed a player from Riverside in the diamond valley comp (i think) some guy by the name of Scott gibbs,will play as an allrounder and supposed to be a absolute gun from what i have heard he is good mates with one of the boys.
i have checked him out on my cricket and this boy can seriously play
will be the best cricketer in the NWCA by a mile
