Dikon, they're a very very supportive country. So when they win, the Pakistan fans are with them, because they're so solidly behind the team. When they fail to win, or lose in a manner which is unacceptable the fans have a right to get onto them.
Although the future, in my opinion, looks good, at the moment there are weaknesses.

I'm a very supportive person of the England cricket team but when we lost the Ashes 5-0 i didn't go burning effigies of players on the streets or shouting 'death to Fletcher' like Pakistan 'fans' did when they lost to Ireland.If they were true fans they would back them through thick and thin like England fans.They have injuries to key players and the roads they played on weren't result pitches in my opinion.Younus Khan didn't want the captaincy because he didn't want to be treat like an animal e.g Shoaib Malik and Greg Lawson now.Whenever they lose it's always the the foreign coach's fault totally ignoring the fact it's the players who play, the coached job is to improve them away from the cameras which needs time.It was the players who went out on the field and didn't show the intensity or the commitment required to perform at the highest level in International cricket.Some fans seem to forget they got to the final of the twenty20 World cup final which in my eyes was a good achievement with the squad of players they took to the competition.

I agree that Misbah-ul-Haq is more passionate than Shahid Afridi about playing for his country. Afridi goes out and just throws his wicket away. He doesn't deserve as many chances he gets. He bowls well against weak players of spin. But I cant see him causing much damage against India or Australia. Misbah has been very unfortunate. Had he been given as many chances he would have surely had a good career.pak_god said:
