Pakistan vs West Indies 1 ODI Rawalpindi

A fantastic show in the test series has given Pakistan an edge in the ODI series but the kind of performance the Windies have given in the recent past in the shorter version of the game, gives them an upper hand too.

The great performance by the Pakistanis has been mainly because of the inspiration that Inzamam has brought to the side but in the first game at least he won't be taking the field. He still has to sit out for a match to serve his 4 ODI ban. The inclusion of Kaneria in the ODI side is a good move and there seems to be a good balance in the team.

The Windies have to buckle up and leave their test series defeat behind them. Lara has led the team in an inspiring fashion and things have been very good for them at least in the shorter version of the game. There have been a few changes in the side. Bradshaw and Smith will add a bit of zip to the team whereas the absence of the talisman cricketer Bravo will affect the team adversely.

All in all both the teams are looking in a similar situation and it should be a gripping encounter of limited overs cricket.

Pakistan: Mohammad Hafeez, Imran Farhat, Younis Khan (c), Mohammad Yousuf, Shoaib Malik, Abdul Razzaq, Kamran Akmal (w), Umar Gul, Danish Kaneria, Mohammad Sami, Rana Naved-ul-Hasan, Rao Iftikhar, Yasir Hameed, Abdur Rehman

West Indies: Chris Gayle, Shivnarine Chanderpaul, Brian Lara (c), Runako Morton, Denesh Ramdin (w), Daren Powell, Jerome Taylor, Corey Collymore, Dwayne Smith, Marlon Samuels, Dave Mohammed, Ian Bradshaw, Lendl Simmons, Ramnaresh Sarwan (injured)

English cheaters

West Indies is a good team but our team of Golden Pakistan is the best in the world.

The worst team in the world is the English team, which is full of cheaters. This accusation was made by Mike Holding, during which he said that "the english cricketers cheated against australia in 2005 ashes". It can be read in the third paragraph of the following link :

English cricket and other sporting teams are full of cheaters.

I just read the article, and I don't see that quote.
I think you're making it up.

So tell the truth now Truthteller, did Asif and Shoaib Akhtar take drugs or not?

Re: Pakistan vs West Indies 1 ODI Rawalpindi

"There is a double standard at work in cricket and this episode has only highlighted it. When England used reverse-swing to beat the Australians in the 2005 Ashes, everyone said it was great skill. When Pakistan does it, the opposite happens, no one thinks it is great skill. Everyone associates it with skullduggery.

Michael Holding is correct in general about first-world hypocrisy. But what that has got to do with this specific thread (Pakistan vs. West Indies ODI), I have no idea.

Cleazer, read the third para of this link and you will get the message that the english team was acused of cheating by mike holding. I am surprised that you did not find that quote. Or if you are referring to my personal remarks, they are not a part of the above news url.

Shoaib and Asif DID NOT take drugs and they have been cleared by our Appeal board. But Shane Warne, who is the greatest aussie cheat of Cricket, did so some years ago. He also fixed matches and earned a lot of black money out of it.

Malcolm Speed, who is less of a chief executive of ICC and more of a CRICKET NAZI, criticized the Appeal board in Golden Pakistan for their findings, which cleared our legendary Shoaib and Asif. Malcolm Speed is a fascist minded person and he must understand that his fascist culture cannot be imposed upon us in Golden Pakistan. Speed is the very same person, who openly sided with HITLER UMPIRE & CHEAT UMPIRE, Darryl Hair in his false accusations against our team, which proves that he is a very biased man towards the asian cricketers. Asian cricket teams will be better off if they break away from the fascist ICC and join Asian cricket council, ACC. Australia has terrorized East Timor, Indonesia and the other regional countries in the past and is now terrorizing poor Fiji, but it cannot terrorize us in our Golden Pakistan. Hatred against Australia is growing very fast in our Golden Pakistan and more and more of our people are openly viewing Australia as a fascist country.

Truthteller, for someone who lives in Germany, you sure throw around mentions of Hitler, Nazis, and facism fairly nonchalantly. Aren't people sensitive to stuff like that over there? (I've never been to Germany, so I'm asking.)
Shoaib and Asif DID NOT take drugs and they have been cleared by our Appeal board.
I don't think they were ever cleared of not taking drugs. They were cleared on a supposed technicality, apparently being punished by one organization using another organization's methods. The blame was also put on the PCB for not telling which drugs not to take.

At no point in any of the artcles I've read have I seen anything to indicate that they did not take the drugs.

Re: Pakistan vs West Indies 1 ODI Rawalpindi

As someone who has a Exchange student (Rather a sister) living in germany, i know for a fact that they are sensitive about fascism, and i'd appreciate it if you didn't throw terms like that around lightly Truth Teller. Now as a fellow Pakistani follower, it has been proven that Shoab Akhtar and Mohammed Asif have both taken drugs, the boards have admitted that.
