Sri Lanka's closing in on the top 3 pretty quickly. If Australia lose out against India and Sri Lanka win this current Test then they are jumping up to 3rd.

Sri Lanka probably deserve #1 atm...at least for a few months, but will be denied by the vagary of the ranking system

interesting that India will be playing South Africa in yet another 2 Test series in India later this year. India #1 for the foreseeable future it would seem.
