willy presentation night.......
1sts
clemo.....batting ave 65.45 195 runs with 7 not outs.......hahaha well done.......
clemo.....bowling ave 9.29.....too pissed to remember how many wickets around 20 odd....
sheeds.....club champion......756 points........
2nds
freeman......batting ave 36 with 450 odd runs......
fowler(chook).......bowling i think averaging 11 or 12 with 20 odd wickets.....

any other results......

MANNINGHAM CRICKET CLUB SEEK PLAYING COACH FOR SEASON 2008-09

2008-09 will see Manningham Cricket Club be one of only two clubs to field sides in the top two grades of the Synthetic cricket section of the ECA (MacGibbon and Burt Shields). We now seek the services of an enthusiastic and driven playing coach to help develop our young playing list to the level of regular finals participants.

Manningham CC is located in East Doncaster at Rieschiecks Reserve fielding 3 senior teams, 3 junior teams and conducts a very successful Milo Have-A-Go program in Melbourne’s largest cricket association.

The preferred candidate for this role will bring some or all of:

• Playing experience at a level commensurate with or higher than the level of our current first XI
• On field leadership experience at some level of cricket
• Ability to work in a coaching capacity with players of a range of skill levels
• Passion for developing junior cricketers and creating pathway structures
• Previous coaching experience not essential

The candidate will be required to attend all senior training sessions and conduct some junior coaching sessions throughout the season.

Remuneration is negotiable.

A few sides,Oaks,End.Hills,Coburg have advertised for c.c's,Kew have appointed Francis Gill and Troy Rowe from Northcote to coaching roles,Dale has left Bops to cc Melbourne,Heath Pritchard might be at Caulfield as cc but not confirmed.On another forum Someone has suggested Mick Lewis to Coburg for 42,000 p.a?
Anyone going to the Medal Friday?,if so could you post team of the year on here together with any other rumours.

Mick Lewis rumour confirmed in thursdays paper,could be entertaining times ahead with him at Coburg and Harwood if he does end up at Melton.,a few batsmen might be getting a bit nervous.

Cheers Anchorman,interesting reading,looks like Melton will have to keep looking.Had to laugh at that bit on Klinger,going to S.A to enhance his prospects of national selection,reckon Ajax might be his next stop rather than a baggy green.
Enjoy the night,Blake is a gun,would be a worthy winner.

Anyone got any objections to the team?
I thought Sean Ayres should have got in but apart from that all good i say.
Im also suprised Bartlett finished 3rd in the count above some of the other names in the team who i thought had much more consistant years than him.

Beshara yes agreed but Hodgey had a very up and down year for him.
Only made one 50 which is very unusual for him.
But didn't he keep the house down in the grand final.
