They bloody well won. Game to be played on Karen Rolton HighwayI'm over the fumbleballers encroaching on the cricket season
Looks like a minefield today. SA steamrolling Queensland atm. They bloody well won. Game to be played on Karen Rolton Highway
Assisted by some ordinary batting by the Bulls too. Usman batted like he was on a minefield. The rest followed. Having said this, the Bulls arent the best batting lineup so there must've been more in the track than it indicated. Generally the Redbacks have been more consistent but they too have had the odd collapse. Thing is I dont see them batting one day let alone two as some are saying, not with this strong Bulls attack led by the ageless Mike Neser. Bulls may miss Xavier Bartlett tho. Has been an injury plagued season for him.Queensland ALL OUT for 95. Brendan Doggett with 6/31 off 11.5 overs. Unbelievable performance by SA.
The New South Welshman in me says its a shame we shit the bed against Tasmania as it would've been an SA vs NSW final. I would've gone if it had been NSW in the final.Assisted by some ordinary batting by the Bulls too. Usman batted like he was on a minefield. The rest followed. Born, bred and still living in our wonderful Harbor City. Blues selectors have turned me away from following them, sorry to say. They hold onto has beens in favor of blooding youth. And when they do they only give them a few pissweak matches to suddenly become first class cricketers. I now follow Tassie and WA.The New South Welshman in me says its a shame we shit the bed against Tasmania as it would've been an SA vs NSW final. I would've gone if it had been NSW in the final.
That they did. Most lacked guts when they saw the scoreboard pressure, even tho Konstas and Nikitaras got them in.its a shame we shit the bed against Tasmania
I haven't (and never will) gone the full South Australian but I do follow SA when they aren't playing NSW.Born, bred and still living in our wonderful Harbor City. Yes and no. There is obviously more in this deck than either skipper saw. The two most successful bowlers Doggett and Vidler found that bowling at the batsman they got that little bit of nibble and bounce. I was looking forward to seeing Sangha continue his incredible form but he played a rash shot.Terrible batting by both teams.
Further to my earlier point, case in point Henry Hunt, the SA opener. The bloke was born and raised in country NSW, his sister played soccer for Western Sydney before going to play for the famous Tottenham Hotspur in England and Australia yet he's opening the batting for South Australia. Ditto Tim Ward, Nathan Ellis, Lawrence Neil-Smith, Iain Carlisle. Most recent '23 U19 off spinning all rounder Raf MacMillan. He along with Sam Konstas were part of the Junior Ashes winning X1. I was so pissed off when I heard this. He was definitely my breaking point. All those guys (bold) now play for Tassie Tigers., case in point Henry Hunt,
While I'm no fan of the BBL and T20 in general but in the case of Nathan Ellis that's where NSW dropped the ball. The Sixers or the Thunder should've picked him up in the first place.Ditto Tim Ward, Nathan Ellis, Lawrence Neil-Smith, Iain Carlisle. Most recent '23 U19 off spinning all rounder Raf MacMillan. Without doubt. The guy was so shattered he was denied a career in his home state that he packed his bags and left for Tasmania at his own expense. That took guts. The rest is history. While I'm no fan of the BBL and T20 in general but in the case of Nathan Ellis that's where NSW dropped the ball.
