Anyhow how about those results on the weekend. StJohns go down to Burnside upset of the round. wheres Hutchy. Good to see Congs get amongst it well done Macca & Troy. St Andrews smash big mouths Melton Centals awsome & Roosters pants The once mighty Kingy Baps. The results make for a very healthy Turf comp this year, Very open exsiting.

Your right on the money BigCoq with a healthy Turf Comp this year. St Andrews are definetly the team to beat at the moment. Beat Centrals by 100 runs and still got 3 players to come back into side. Burnside's win was very good. They have some very good players Burnside who may sneak under the radar of many clubs. Good effort by the Roosters to beat Kingy outright. Hope they don't drop Potae for Wally when he comes back as Potae looks a good bat and worth persisting with. As for Kingy Bapts, well looks like a long year. To few quality crickers to carry the other 7 players. St Johns have the same problem. The Temby boys seem to have to carry them every week. They wont be able to do this against the better sides. Good win by Congs, however it was only against Caroline Springs. Melton Centrals will need to improve if they are going to challenge for the flag. How they would love to get a couple of senior players back asap. Just had a look at Centrals website and looks like Jofa is trying to lay down some home truths with the following message "There is a meeting for ALL senior players this Thursday (13 Nov) after training. This meeting is compulsory and non attendance will not be accepted."

Melton Centrals to beat Caroline Springs quite comfortibly
Roosters #1 to beat Roosters #2 Outright.

Where were the churches teams that where going to play in the 20/20 games on Sunday? I heard they didn't want to play because they thought they couldn't win!! very, very weak....amen brother..

hmmmmm the assosiation didnt tell us and we never found out about it until Thursday at training as a result could only round up 7 or 8 players for sunday not happy jan. not sure of your mail. weak ur kidding maybe we will see u @ the 7s comp.missed opp.

is there anyone out there, that can tell me why we dont have a full fixture yet? or atleast up until rnd 9 when everyone has had 1 bye? no team is getting dropped now from the turf, so why not let everyone know when we are playin- sat/sun games etc. someone get some answers from the muppets and let everyone know.

It has been confirmed that a true legend of the Western Suburbs Churches Cricket Association has been selected to represent another state in the upcoming carnival in December.
The legend in question has represented Victoria in numerous carnivals in the past and has been a prolific run maker in carnivals, and the club he played for many years.
In last reports we have received, is that the legend in question has been making an avalanche of runs in his current home state, where he now resides.
Our boys should be on the look out, as this legend has the capacity to win a game off his own bat.

we had a few fill ins last week in the 1s, and will hav at least 1 stil there, we hav a little depth in our 1s but unless every1 is available, which never happens, we struggle to put a seconds side in witout use of e grade players from last year, so we just hope no1 has a wedding this season
