My Perth today was horrible being very hot at 40C and humid. It happens sometimes? My evaporative air cond did help a bit turned up high. Hence I went slow shopping in my local refrigerated shopping mall.
I kept my air cond high for my dog who's worked out his cool spots, like your dog Thomas sensing out warm spots. They're smart like that.
Our weather forecaster says it's an 'extreme heat wave'.
On days like today I walk about the house without a shirt in just light cotton outdoor shorts and mesh sneakers, or bare foot or sandals and socks and drinking lots of fluids.
This heat can kill vulnerable people, like in Craig's Sydney where it's much more humid and hot. Not as hot as Perth or WA.
We have strong winds too blowing over trees crushing some homes and cars. At least the nights aren't too bad, except for the winds. They do have a bit of wind chill factor tho, when one's outside.

I sure do Thomas, I love dogs and even cats. Their intelligences and senses intrigue me, as do all intelligences and senses.. My dog has brilliant hearing and smell. Great for barking and chasing rats away.You remember that?
I also remember IT things we talked about all too well in that I spent money and worked on and off for months moving vulnerable data to more secure locations and wiping clean several devices and using a 2tb external ssd hd for primary data backed up by 2 big usbs backed up by hard copies hidden in the bowels of my book shelves, with the sensitive USB backups. I don't trust the Cloud. Everything is hackable nowadays.
Also using the momentum to buy a grunty new Laptop which is totally clean of any sensitive data, ...etc
Also learning how to lock files ... and still vulnerable almost falling for an email scam last week.
My anti virus program saved me with a warning, thank goodness.

Thanks for the heads up Craig, you posted as I was typing out my Soviet guesses. It happens.
