You can say all you want on here james, at the moment I wouldnt say any games a a pencil in.

As for us struggling we have had 1 bad game which we got bi*tc$ slapped, other then that we havent lost and were in a position to win the 2 drawn games.

true.......pressure on my side.....

not 1 side has made over 120 against us so the bowling/fielding isnt a problem and the amount of wickets/maidens we have bowled is by far the best in the comp......so that should hold us in good stead in 1 day matches...ill put my hand up to change things around with the bat....so watch this space...

Hey Weap, not sure what you do for a job, but how the hell do you have time to work out that your team has bowled the most wicket maidens in the comp? actually forget how much time you may have, how could you be botherd??

Surely on form GU have to be the side to beat again?? as a few blokes have said, its anyones year though..
few former greats making runs in lower grades, they may just put there hands up for selection in the run home..

read weapons post again.... he didnt say they had the most wicket maidens, so i suggest you make sure before you hang s h i t.
also gu's form is no better than newport digmans.....hence they are not on top of the ladder.
and as for former greats making runs, well i know one who probably wont play again this year, it will be a miracle if he does.
injuries dont heal as quick when your old

well you've got colts and gu to play so you can pencil in two losses there.... very confident for a side thats just in the four.
its too early to be spruiking, anything can happen.

you just got beat by colts, fair to say they should beat you blokes... good old wimps hey... every year there world beaters

wasnt hanging s h i t Jabba.. and even when i do read it again properly, still, who can be bothered working out how many maidens you bowl.. you just stick to being a know all! we all know the weap loves the stats, just thought that one in particualr would take some work!! goo on him though, hes keen!
your right though, GU form no better than digmans, but we all know who has the edge over digman in finals!!

easy.....look at our bowlers figures for the maidens=88=pressure=wickets=71=20 more than any1 else......simple took 5 min.....

and the batting stats= no where id want them to be at this stage.......that all changes with time in the middle......so its on me to set the standard......

cheers Huss.. id be surprised if that happens.. would have to lose about 12kgs i would think! although FREW is pushing for selection - as a batsman!

weap - as i said, you love your stats! im sure DP will turn it around...

Weapons, you seem very confident over one dayers. You've got a short memory, one dayers were your weak link last year ( 2 wins, 3 losses, 1 tie), cost you top spot & a premiership. You beat ANA easily in the two day match so you would have beaten them in the grand final.
 
time will tell. we are still fourth on the ladder. so as long as we are in the top four i dont mind what use say about us. with a good run home im certain we will play finals.
