Mate, I am staggered at that result........I know for a fact ND & West voted yes, but can not for the life of me work out why imps,colts,ptcook & Wynd would vote no when they need to play MORE games to have MORE chance to get in finals or finish top 2...........:( In A-Turf 2 every team can still play finals so its even more staggering why they'd vote NO???????

I can see why GU voted against, seen as though they are on top under false pretences in both grades, the less games played for them the better , the more cricket played, the ladder works itself out & they know it.............:D

As for no 2nds games getting replayed, well its got me f******d:mad:

B turf are getting a replay. Round 1 being replayed on 12 February, sames as A turf, just no replay of round 2 on Sunday, 20 Feb.
Its in the email to clubs from Mark Keating.

We were already playing on the 12th so it makes no difference.........i meant more cricket days to replace what we've missed???

Its about time the comp took this voting crap away from the clubs......weak as piss:mad:
 
so we play 5 games in 5 days,then we expect cricketers to play a 6 day grand final.CRAZY.are players that played in lower grades round 1& 2 available for these two games now that there being replayed.

No one in any grade has played round 1,that was the day of the AFL grand final replay. Anyone from lower grades can play in A turf replay of round 2 on Sunday 20 Feb.

tomorrows winners will be grand cos that wicket will look like the junction oval.newport but not outrite as expected.vales v cookers,very interesting might be the big upset.go cookers.imps to win no more than 5 down.
 
Interesting results today. With Point Cook & Colts winning it leaves 7 sides in the mix for the finals in the A1. More interesting results in A2 where the top 2, Melton South & ANA were beaten by the bottom 2, St Johns & Old Westbourne. All 8 still in with finals chance there.

Very interesting results from yesterday. Wyndhamvale appear to be on struggle street, Newport Digman and Grand United appear to be the two teams most likely. Could it be a replay of the granny from 3 years ago? Oh and titb, don't you post when you get beaten? I actually have vision from you at the end of the game yesterday..

As soon as I saw that declaration I thought it was bad news. I do not know why people do it, why not just bat on and get a lead and then bowl? By declaring 1 run in front, you automatically have to bat a second time around. You might as well have been all out, as you just forfeit the rest of the wickets anyway.

fair to say maybe i wont be doing that again.......though we took some concilation pts when no other top 4 team did......that might help us comming into finals......all top 4 teams got rolled which leaves us 2 pts from 2nd......

credit to them they took the game on and handled the game situation better.........

and with our run home geeno we will finish 3rd at worst and possibly even second.newport should finish top with good draw.grand or imps 2nd & 3rd.cheats to hold on for 4th.what a great & even comp,with sides not in the 4 such as p/c & colts pushing good sides and even causing the odd upset.only g/brand not cmpetitive.and the same thing with divvy 2 very even.we are quick to jump on comps back when they get things wrong,but 8 sides per comp turns out to be a great descision.

and 4 points off bottom and by your own admission your side has a very ordinary record in one dayers.with only one day games to go,where would they religate you to.might go alright in a mats hey weapo.
