Alot of people writing GU off in here in the past weeks.. Well they are hitting form at the right time of season!
Dont even have to win this week against vales to secure a spot. Lavo would only need to lose againt ND. The BIG 2, Vales and ND under huge pressure now!
All of a sudden things turn! the ND batting line up doesnt look that strong when Welsh doesnt get a score!!

Mate your form is good,but you still need a fair bit to go your way to make it!!

Was it good bowling or bad shots. They only lasted 30 overs. That pitch is a road.

It's good to see the Digman guys that weren't playing keen on sledging us for the first 10 overs until they were about 4-30. they clearly shut their mouths after that

Massive win them, you dont mind people on the side giving a bit of banner as long as it is not personal. Now you have a home semi, and finish on top. Big advantage considering the new heat rule.

I disagree with the top 2 sides under pressure.. anything can happen in a one-day game mate

thats a cop out.. Good side can adapt to either! anything can happen, your kidding, we arent playing international cricket where they have specialist players! its park cricket mate!

Big round coming up with only W'Vale certain of what position they finish. Barring Colts winning outright it is a battle between GU & Laverton for a spot in the 4. Depending on results the finishing order has alot of varribles with even GU a chance of finishing second wouldn't that put the wind up the other sides in the four.

Newport / Digman & Imps could finish 2nd, 3rd or 4th

Grand united could finish 2nd, 3rd, 4th or 5th.

Laverton could finish 4th or 5th

My tip is Laverton will beat Newport Digman and W'Vale will beat GU. Which means Lavo will tip GU out of the four on percentage.

The game of the round will be ANA & Hoppers Club where both teams will have alot of pride on the line as neither side has won a game for the season and the loser finishes last. My tip is Hoppers Club will win easy.

I heard you guys needed 40+ off last 4 overs and needed 13 off the last over

Apparently Wellsy come good hitting Harb out of the ground in the last over and Harb helped out bowling a couple of wides

Boofa, good to see someone sticking up for POP GUN, he needs all the help he can get. Don't forget, he started all this with the crap he posted about our club. Now he wants to take the high moral ground - he has a short memory. You are right, there is no need for burley, as he will bite at only a morsel of bait. Maybe we should all send him boxes of tissues and flowers but I won't post his address as he will get all sensitive again. And we can't have the poor fellow upset again, can we? ha ha. Karma is a funny thing and in POP GUN'S case what goes around comes around. We are not champions but will never take a backward step in defending our club against the likes of this clown. I am sure if he shit canned your club for no valid reason you would take the same stand as I have.

Yeah mate, I'm the first to admit i'm having a very average season. In the end, if i'm dropped i'm dropped. not much i can do about it. Until then, i'm enjoying being part of a winning team and i'll be trying everything i can to rectify my batting.

The News going around is that there contracts will not be renewed for next season, and a few not happy also I believe about the state of the Golf Course the lads apparently look after also, not up to scratch we believe Lucky.

Both of you should employ your mate Hussler. As he always has his mouth open to say something, you can utilise his mouth by filling it up with grass clippings, then walk him up and down the wicket, giving it a nice even layer of clippings.
