Don't be concerned with futurecompchamp. As his name suggests, he may well be a comp champ in the distant future, but judging by his repeated references to the Wyndham Vale side as "they" means he isn't a part of the side. Therefore he is more than likely still slugging out on the mats. Secondly, it looks as though he has the fight of his life trying to pass year 8 at school.

Don't worry champ, a pube is bound to sprout up sooner or later.

Fair observation Unyuns hahahaha,Quality post, keep up the good work.......:D

Re: Williamstown and District Cricket Association (WADCA)

Hello everybody,

On Sunday 1st March 2009 at Angliss Reserve, Yarraville

The Footscray ANA Cricket Club is holding a fundraising family day to celebrate the contribution that Paul Kukucka has made to the club continuously since 1980.

Unfortunately Paul is suffering from a serious illness so the club would like to raise funds to help support Paul and his family.

There will be a Twenty/20 junior game at 2 pm (Under 17s & Under 15s),

and a senior Twenty/20 game beginning at about 4 pm.

The senior game will be between a

Paul Kukucka Invitational XI

v’s

a Footscray ANA Invitational XI.

There will also be kid’s activities including a jumping castle,a BBQ, with the canteen also open on the day.

A special effort raffle and a silent auction will also be held.

For those that have played with Paul or against him, please make a effort to support this very special event & spread the word.

cheers

Re: Williamstown and District Cricket Association (WADCA)

I won't be able to get down there due to us having a family day on the same day, but I wish the fundraiser all the best and hope that the club raises a decent amount of cash to help out such a good servant of the Footscray ANA cricket club

Re: Williamstown and District Cricket Association (WADCA)

Gday cricket fans,

The Best in the West Twenty/20 Grand Final, proudly sponsored by the Greg Chappell Cricket Centre, is on this Wednesday 18th Feb at 5.30pm.

Get down to Parsons Reserve, Sunshine (Grand United CC) to watch Williamstown Colts play Laverton in our 5th Annual tournament.

Previous winners include GU & Footscray - 2 titles each so the trophy will go to a new team this year.

Good luck to both teams and I'm sure it will be a belter...

Cheers
Dave Maddern

I suppose you are getting a gold membership from the club just like Lawford & Hardy in lieu of match payments you superstar.

PS If you want to talk the talk make sure you can walk the walk

Thank you for your lesson in spelling and grammer.I think I might sack my PA and use you to write my monthly board reports in future, it seems to be a field that you could excel in.

Regardless of the spelling and grammer the points made were clear and easy for Boofa & Pop Gun to comprehend.

32 minutes and....BITE! OK, I have a spare moment, I'll play...:p

I hope your PA didnt have to drag you out of a critical Board presentation to serve up that dross post!

Gee, what a company, well poised to ride out the current economic turmoil, with intellectual giants like Riff Raff advising the Board, what could possibly go wrong?

I also believe the correct term is 'Care-giver' rather than 'PA', someone who comes and helps you around the house with basic functions isnt exactly a PA's position description.

Sorry if i offend anyone but these are my predictions for the season.I think its going to be a very competitive comp this year and my views may change if some people can confirm some new signings for each side.

1.GU
2.Newport Digman
3.Willy Colts
4.Laverton
5.Wyndhamvale
6.West Newport
7.Willy Imps
8.ANA
9.Hoppers club
10.Gellibrand

Have to say my predictions at the start of the season were sh1t. I obviously underestimated Wyndhamvale and the gimps, and gellibrand.
Good luck to all those involved in finals in the next few weeks.

Re: Williamstown and District Cricket Association (WADCA)

RESULT: TWENTY/20 GRAND FINAL

Willi Colts batting first make 102 off 18 overs
Laverton chased it down with 2 balls and 5 wickets to spare.

Well done to the Lavo boys. Very exciting finish and befitting of a GF.

Thanks to all that came to watch and all the clubs that competed, we'll be back again next season with a bigger and better comp!

Good luck to everyone this weekend and may the best sides win.

Cheers

Well, well, well coming from a public servant who are nothing but oxygen thiefs living off our taxes, tied up in their own importance but actually contribute jack shit to the economy. It is a petty Jeff Kennett wasn't prime minister and he would have privatised the public service and got rid of all the free loaders which would have resulted in half the population of Canberra having to find a real job.

Our company is well poised to ride out the current economic turmoil because we are pro active and are willing to make the hard decisions unlike the government and its departments who procrastinate over everything and are unwilling to make any decisions.
