Yeah, The nearest i got on that game was the pitch was a road;)
Well done to GU and Dazza. Another record for the stat's sheet there.
Scarey bit also worth noting was the 20 odd overs to spare.

What's gone wrong at ND? Only been able to pick up 8 or 9 wickets for over 580 runs the past 2 games. With Liam, Dan Lee and Charlie driving the ship, would think you would of been able to hold them.
Will this result and the ordinary finish to the year put the heat on Charlie's position?

No surprises at Imp's. Just soft.

my opinion.......not being able to defend 300 is soft........they got em in 67 overs..........wow

dont use know how to bowl 2 ft outside off stump with a 6/3 field.........

boof how was mad monday..........?

Drove past GU tonight around 11.00pm and saw someone on the roller???

The deck will be a road 2moro for the big run chase, and that's the advantage of having a home final the last 10 years or so, being able to do as you please with the wicket.
They will need to roll the thing into bitumen for that chase, as 309 will be a big ask even from the almighty GU lineup.

We all know how GU like to write the records, but well done to Kane on back to back tons. Probably hasn't been a bigger and a more important knock in recent times than that one, considering their postition when he came in.

Next question is: Will Charlie be able to contain the runs unlike last week? and could a win here erase the disappointment of last years final?

Also, Could a loss here to GU signal the offical farewell of a few of their champ's??????
With Deano coping another injury, and his mind on retirement and future fishing trips, and Willy Comp's connection with a possible return to his previous club to maybe coach to see out his career, this maybe a curtin call for a few.

And what about Imp's.

After winning the toss and sending Wynd in on a sticky, and having them 3/ not many, the high fives would of been flying,(as i know the Imps supporters where walking tall)
But as usual, wynd's middle to late order fired and got them 180 odd for Imps to chase.

You would think with the efforts from imps last week, they would be fired up to amend, but once again, they curled over to have basically have gifted Wyn the win, with a return of 7/40 odd, and only the tail left to salvage, you would have to think its way out of their grasp now.

Good luck to GU and Imps on your tasks, but all the signs are pointing at a ND V Wynd granny.

As far as i can remember, Willi Comp has only ever played for GUCC!

Agreed, Dazza was on fire!

A lot of people were saying the field placings were wrong and ND were just going through the motions.
I didn't notice that but then again when a bloke is smashing the ball to all parts, you aren't concentrating on the field placings. :p

we needed a few fielders over the fence and we might of been a chance, very hard to set a field to someone who hits them everywhere, top knock darren

Great win for the Wyndhamvale boys .The big question is where was Dolz.

Dropped for the semi to the 2nds or rested for the granny?

I was at another club for a while, why dont you fill us all in?
I know definately of YCW.
Maybe Willy comp could fill you in more on the rest of his career. :)

Re: Williamstown and District Cricket Association (WADCA)

one thing i have noticed, the digman boys have acknowledged dashers innings and have not used rubbish excuses like many other bloggers on this forum.a few other people should take note.they also have not hidden under rocks since they were beaten.they have shown more guts than dolz at a topless picnic.

The big fella may still pick up a losers medal bringing out the drinks as 12th man .I dont think there would be much afternoon tea left for the rest of the players if he was left off the field for the afternoon though.

Surely now, with all this talk about GU they must be odds on to take an 8th straight.... sounds as if Wyndhamvale simply aren't up to their class...

thats not my problem........us in the 2's had a good finish to the year........lol
yes it hurts not playing finals..........but if you look at it take the 3 best bowlers out of any team near the top for the last half of the year and yer your gonna struggle and other teams would struggle even more.........we didnt struggle just wernt good enough..........and when your opening bowler 15 minuits before your gonna bowl says i cant bowl im injured just sends the wrong mssg across the whole team........

but seriously no matter how good the 2 boys batted 335 or whatever they ended up on in 67 overs is way too much....5 and a 1/2 to 6 an over cmon......in my opinion it has to come down to the way you guys train.......or maybe you should have rang the great man and talk tactics with field placings like you would if you were in the magoo's........

your like me nothing on this week end might get down to watch an 8-peat.......wow
