SOFT??????

What about being on top with 4 games to go and missing out on the finals???
Lots of marshmellows down Willy CC by the sound of it.......:eek::eek:

thats not my problem........us in the 2's had a good finish to the year........lol
yes it hurts not playing finals..........but if you look at it take the 3 best bowlers out of any team near the top for the last half of the year and yer your gonna struggle and other teams would struggle even more.........we didnt struggle just wernt good enough..........and when your opening bowler 15 minuits before your gonna bowl says i cant bowl im injured just sends the wrong mssg across the whole team........

but seriously no matter how good the 2 boys batted 335 or whatever they ended up on in 67 overs is way too much....5 and a 1/2 to 6 an over cmon......in my opinion it has to come down to the way you guys train.......or maybe you should have rang the great man and talk tactics with field placings like you would if you were in the magoo's........

your like me nothing on this week end might get down to watch an 8-peat.......wow

as someone has said before there is other things to life then taking pot shots at blokes on the internet.
fair dinkum, you win a semi final easily and you get on the internet 2 hours later and start sprouking to everyone. dont you blokes know how to have a beer with you mates at the club??

great life some of you blokes have....

You do make a valid point Rohan, but I think you will actually find that the server time is way different to actual time. Knowing most of the blokes, but not actually being there, I am guessing that there were plenty of beverages consumed by all. (6:35 Tues 10/3)

Re: Williamstown and District Cricket Association (WADCA)

from what i saw on sunday.. G.U are home.. its all over... darren jury.. the best knock i have seen!! dave maddern was solid as a rock at the other end just nudging it around and doing what he had to do...

Wyndhamvale might as well stay at home and not bother turning up.. its over!

Re: Williamstown and District Cricket Association (WADCA)

I'm still here guys. and yes, i was dropped to the two's before the finals. I can't blame anyone but myself really for not making runs during the season.
As for the weight jokes, bring it. Some of you blokes aren't playing 1's cricket, so i dare say you shut your mouth.

As for GU, good run chase on the weekend. Sets the tone for a good grand final. I'll be down there, as a player or spectator

dare say you will be there as a player.i know you didnt get amongst it last week, but you made the most out of the top order when you played against us. I am not privy to your selection criteria ,but find it baffling you made way to players who seem to be struggling for runs themselves.just be interesting to see if past performances against the opposition will be a factor in selection on thursday

lucky lots of other factors come into a big match you just cant say its over already........yes g/u have the form/talent and history behind them to win.........same as wyndamvale they have the form/talent and can create some history by knocking off 1 of the best teams/clubs in the west we are all in envy of.........and that in itself is a big thing..........should be a cracker.......

not to mention the heavy rain predicted over the weekend due to the tropical storms around queensland which is pushing rain our way........or thats what ive heard anyway........

4 day grand final i believe..........???

A spectator more that likely as a score of 9 runs in the 2's doesn't warrant promotion.

Very disappointing U17's result today being washed out on synthetic pitch when the sprinklers "miraculously" came on overnight after having not worked for two years. Wyndhamvale made 139; West Newport 0/6 and washed out giving Wyndhamvale the run straight into the GF. Also co-incidental that Wyndhamvale are chasing 200+ and are struggling at 4/30 on same pitch in senior matting match played there.

Some very interesting facts have come to light after discussions with the Wyndam City Council. The council have investagated the incident and confirmed that the sprinkler system has been tampered with at the ground and a padlock has been unlocked to get access to it and guess who has keys to the padlock?

The comp has been made aware of the above and have spoken to the council as well don't be suprised if the result is over turned or at worse the game will be completed this Saturday.

Isn't it good to see a club teach its juniors how to cheat no wonder this club can not perform under pressure. I hope justice prevails and the game is completed this Saturday as we don't want a false passage into the grand final we would prefer to lose than cheat.

I hope the Wyndamvale C.C have the balls to find out who done this and give them the arse from their club if they don't they are only condoning this behaviour.

Ok, here is mine:

A-Turf - Wyndhamvale
B- Turf - Wyndhamvale
C- Turf - Old Westbourne (wyndhamvale in 09/10)
A - Matts - Wyndhamvale
B - Matts - Wyndhamvale
One Day Comp: Wyndhamvale:D

W'vale are off to a good start losing the One Day G/F and being knocked out in all other grades except A Turf & A Matting. They will start under dogs in both so hopefully they will end up with no senior flags. Good effort for a club that had so many teams in the finals. Go GU & Seabrook and make us all happy.

Don't count on your under 17's playing in the grand final as there is a hearing tonight in relation to why the ground was in a unplayable condition last Sunday and from the investagated carried out by the Wyndam City Council the evidence is fairly daming for your club.

The state of the game was that we were in the best position to win being 0/6 chasing 139. I hope we are not awarded the game tonight but it is rescheduled to be completed Saturday morning where the best side wins and advances to the grand final.

I wasn't the one who was sprooking that W'Vale would win 5 senior flags maybe thats who the tool is. You will be lucky to win one which maybe is karma after your clubs efforts last weekend in relation to the under 17's wash out. Just remember every dog has it day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
