Re: North A & B
Big Coq, I have read the woes of the Churches finals this year, some very interesting reading I must say. Anyway are you guys intending to find a home in the VTCA or Willy comp?
Re: MMVCA General Cricket Chat
Let me tell you if spider gets enough time on it before the start of the year it will be playing ok by the middle of November, he is a gun and I had the pleasure of playing on his wickets for 2 years
Re: Western Suburbs Churches Cricket Association
Absolutely they would with Edrich and add boughton to their batting lineup. They were ok and played for a long time in North A

Re: North A & B
Sledger i tend to agree with you, heard nothing but good reports about Baker. Anyway I see Seabrook, FU, Westy are looking for some new blood at the top but surely they would be the short list as there should probably be some moves within both A&B. Some food for thought-...
Re: MMVCA General Cricket Chat
Paul congratulations on being the best side in the comp yet you were unable to bowl a side out to win the grand final:eek: Stay off the p*ss son it's playing tricks on your mind.
Re: MMVCA and NWCA Merger
Just enough to sell their souls to the NWCA- What was it- $1,000 to turn up and $50 a wicket or something like that. 20 wickets and it's a cool 2 gorillas, not bad!!
Re: North A & B
Phil is a 'funny' one, had a pleasure of playing against him a year ago and he went nuts- a little over the top to be honest. It was a tough day of cricket and tension was high, even so I had a chat to him about his somewhat questionable actions during the day. To his...
Re: MMVCA General Cricket Chat
One way of ensuring your firsts stay in A turf, why would Sunshine YCW take the field can't they say can't achive a result and shake hands. It looked as though they only batted for 10 overs, that's a long 2 days in the field knowing you need a result to win the...
Re: MMVCA General Cricket Chat
7 fa I was having a chat with one of your club legends on Saturday and he was a huge wrap for Jas, said he was the difference between runners up and winning the premiersip in North a. Had a great chat with him, good guy and certainly would be a very positive in...
Re: North A & B
Roy I like it, How would it run as I think you could snaek in an extra round and make it a 12 round season. Just to confirm your comments, it would be 2 great comps and for the sides currently in North b it would be like winning a flag and going up a grade! I've heard...
Possible breakup of Senior A into North & South divisions
7 fa my information is that it's gone! If that's the case it leaves 25 north sides which on the surface doesn't work. If one side was to leave which seems to be on the grapevine again that would leave a perfect 24 which would leave...
Re: North A & B
Agree with you there, I actually turned to my cous and said if you guys got one more on Saturday Mark would have been hailed a genius! Had a quick chat to a couple of your guys after the game and they were shattered that the opportunity was there and yeah I agree you...
Re: North A & B
7 fa what's the club doing next year, are you guys looking for someone to do the captain/coach gig or has the club got someone already in mind to take the helm
Re: North A & B
What in the....... I guess the loss still hurts so we can agree to disagree but there are very few clubs if any in B1 who can or could bat for 90 overs let alone survive. I watched a fair portion of the game and it appeared that MV was overawed by the occassion and that...
Re: North A & B
Yeah you did, but I think with runs on the board those 10 wickets are easier to get- just ask Werribee. score board pressure is a wonderful thing and the word grand final just adds to that pressure. I just think by batting you take control of the game and send a message...
