A-Z Of Food.

We have that in common. Used to have regular dinners with in laws and the Chinese food was always swimming in garlic. By time we reached home my stomach was doing back flips.
Yeah I'm the same, I can't stand the taste of it or the smell 🤢

Good fibre but very hi in sucrose, fructose, and glucose. I try to stick to low sugar fruits.
Agreed about a date's sugar levels. I'm cautious about sugar, salt, fat and junk food ... being pre diabetic, now well controlled with Mediterranean salads and keeping active.
My Salad ingredients: Lettuce, red onion, red capsicum, cucumber, tomato, raw garlic, olives, beetroot, raw chilli, shredded carrot, coriander, avocado, ...

I have all the common food's glucose levels printed and stuck on the back of my pantry door. I aim for foods with GI scores under 50. However, it can get confusing with Dates at 103, Figs at 61 and Prunes surprisingly at only 39.
