Nothing better than seeing two guys competing in the same team. I am sure that if the rumour is true that Bambury is coming back to play for mount clear, that he would be welcomed back with open arms.
Dont' forget there are some really good factors to move away from Wendouree.
Nothing to do with the club, but when living in Wendouree you can smell McCains and that can be a distraction.
There are a heap of ferals who live in wendouree.

Mount Clear you don't get any idiots annoying the crap out of anyone there. You don't have to put up with vulgar supporters or the smell from any of the factories and you can't smell the shit farm that is just up the road.

Oh and if Bam Bam is still working down in Geelong, he only has to travel an hour to get to training. @|

Look mate, I quite enjoy having a chat on this site and although there is alot of rubbish written it is generally not far away from some sort of truth.

Pidgeon, on the other hand, has absolutely no idea about anything to do with:
  1. Ballarat cricket
  2. Umpiring
  3. Blokes who've played in the comp for years
  4. Grounds
  5. Where blokes have played
  6. Coaching
  7. Sledging
  8. etc.
This becomes annoying and I'd just prefer to not have to read her dribble. It's not like a TV station where you can just switch off. If you want to participate in the conversations that are happening you have to trawl through her rantings to do so.

Nah, I think I'll stick with the No-Homers.

Re: BCA Pidgeon-Free Zone

I know that, and we dont want to lose you guys on the site because we love your contributions to the local cricket board.

I personally have had several issues with her in the past, but as I was alerted to, she hasn't made any violations to the rules of posting and therefore, unless she does something against those rules, she wont be punished.

I've been here since the site started, and back then - if it were my decision - I probably would've done something, but I've learn't to ignore her posts.

There is an alternative, there's an ignore button when you go to the page of a particular poster, so you dont have to see what they post.

I will speak to the admins about this and get back to you, but I don't moderate this board.

Re: Ballarat Cricket Association

Rumour about Bams is that he will stay in lara. Not enough money at the mounties. Also a big rumour is Mick Lewis to line up down at Darley. Bats will be lining up to face that line up on a second day wicket down at Darley. Knowles to stay at the Hills.

Nor has he ever worked in Geelong, only Melbourne. Perhaps Darley are front-runners for his services given that geographical convenience is the best recruiting tool according to Pidge. they along with North are probably the only ones who can afford him in the BCA.

Bambury and Jeffrey are quite good friends off the pitch aren't they? i think it was just a pissing contest between them on the field.

I wouldn't think that Ryan would be trying to leave either. When I was talking to him about 2 or 3 weeks ago he was really keen to be having a leadership role at Brown Hill and was trying to recruit several players to the club. So unless something drastic has happened in the period since then I couldn't see him going.

could be an interesting attack to face, lewis moore and cape! if there batting holds up could be early season favourites.

Chris Bambury will never play at Darley. Capey wouldnt let it happen. If he is only guaranteed one wicket a year it is that of Bambury (when he played in the league). The big red head always gets the burnt white man out. Bambers left the league so he had to snick him out at Vic country duties.

If mick Lewis plays with the great blue & gold there is no way i am going training. With my lower grade batting ability i might get killed. Would be awesome for the club though.
