B.Parker from Darley is due for a big year, especially if they bat him in the correct position. He batted well at Country Week last season.

The 40 year old virgin (J. Dewar) should also 'blast' out of the blocks.

M.Cape maybe captain after not taking up the Bambino's offer of playing with Lara.

Hopefully with Phantom, Mumpy and Wheels the Caravan mob can get some consistency happening this year.

I believe that Cape is the captain and trying to get some melbourne guys
down to play with them

who will finish top 4 wophead?

Wendouree
Mt Clear
Ballarat Redan
East Ballarat

Naps/Sebas
Brown Hill
Golden Point
Darley
North Ballarat
Coronet City

I think the top 4 is similar most years.

Wendouree obviously batsman heavy but quality side nonetheless, Mt Clear on balance, Redan could finish top to third and east are always on the fringe.

Naps Sebas always seem to go well before Xmas but in some of the tight games just can't get over the line. Maybe it could change this year?

What do you think?

replace East with Napoleans and i think that is pretty close.
Redan have lost Bambury, they will miss his bowling.

I agree there. He bowls line and length and plays on the batsman's patients.

Him and Simmo bowled very well throughout the season!!!! it goes to show if the captain knows what he's doing and the bowlers back up those plans. Simmo got hit for a huge 6 into the bowling green last year in the Semi. Sounded nice off the stick.

Yeah Naps are a tough one because they struggle at the final hurdle. Good opening bowlers and their top 3 bats are solid but lack that leadership to know how to put sides away.

I am surprised that Allan didn't go for more runs last year.
Bambury is hard to get away, and Allan's line and length is his strength but also predictable.

you sound a long way away. Phillipines maybe?

line & length = wickets

Look at Dipper from Wendouree. Consistency gets results more often than not.

Interesting to see how Simmo goes this year and if batsman play him differently.

his brother will take more wickets than he will this year

Wait and see. Different types of bowlers. Certainly the left armers will help him and no doubt he'll dish a few sledges out here and there.:)

Should be enjoyable for both. ;)

Finally someone has noticed my third best skill. Obviously batting first. Anyone guess number two?

Played with both. Jarrod will take more wickets but sime will be the go-to man on batsman friendly tracks.

losing grand finals?

Not a bad call except I suppose you have to be in them to win one.
reigning premier. case closed

I can think of a number of other things to slot into number 2. :)

Maybe if he stuck something into slot number 2 instead we wouldn't have 3 unfortunate little members of society.

They are three beautiful kids. You are a disgrace, Waka. Who do you think you are? You can go me all you like but now you're passing judgement on children!

Correct, they are beautiful kids. Matty is a legend, top kid and his mother is absolutely lovely. I haven't had much to do with Jack and Katherine but was around when it all happened, and little Blakie is a georgeous kid for Renee to take care of. I wasn't passing judgement on the kids moron, I was stating that they are unfortunate to have their father the man who he is. Chris knows my feelings towards him and also knows that I wouldn't ever drag his kids into a slanging match which you so obviously enjoy while hiding behind a fake name.

I think you need to concentrate on the task at hand sunshine (which is playing cricket by the way) rather than slagging blokes who don't know about situations or scenarios you have no idea about.

wendouree to beat redan
mount clear to beat naps
darley to beat north
point to beat coronet
east to beat brown hill

any comments?

yeah coronet to beat Point as most of their players will be on this Forum instead of playing the game.

Hey mate, I think we better heed our captain's advice from last night and stay off this forum. I'm not sure how many of us are on this site but we don't need the hassles. Let's just focus on getting a win this weekend against Coronet.
