That would be interesting if Dash is going to Wendouree because as I stated earlier I have been told Peter Huntly has gone to north as coach... Considering one was Coach and one was Assistant coach of the Ballarat team last season...

If your thinking of yourself as a bad loss i wouldnt worry too much. Dont get me wrong, you did a great job filling up the numbers each week. Keep practising the bowling mate. Looks like the mounties might be a bit light in the stocks this year. The Don to come off 20 steps this year!!!!

If your thinking of yourself as a bad loss i wouldnt worry too much. Dont get me wrong, you did a great job filling up the numbers each week. Keep practising the bowling mate. Looks like the mounties might be a bit light in the stocks this year. The Don to come off 20 steps this year!!!!

Fletcher must be getting the coaching role of the poms the way he captained last year. make the runs and then everyone on the boundary. Did they win the flag yes. is it sour grapes yes. Was it in the spirit of the game. no f-ing way.

Maybe the mounties should look at getting Chris Morris playing for them.

You blokes, most of you have played against Mt Clear for a long time... Negative they are, plenty of ways to knock them over. Fletch learnt of Jeffo of course he's going to be negative knows no other one. He may have won this years flag doing cause Naps were smart enough to play them at there own game, the year before it cost Mt Clear a flag....

Totally agree with you mate. Who cares what brand of cricket you play? The great thing about this game is that you can win from any position. You play the game according to what is happening and what result you want.

If its the last day of the grand final, you've had one guy putting the ball all over the park, you get him out and they still need 6 an over with 12 overs to go...what would you do?! how many ppl can honestly say they would not be protecting the boundary?

Then on the flip side, when they put them back on the boundary, milk the ones and twos and hit the sixes...you cant completely control a game of cricket. its unpredictable. thats why we love it.

Totally agree with you mate. Who cares what brand of cricket you play? The great thing about this game is that you can win from any position. You play the game according to what is happening and what result you want.

You absolute tosser!!! You obviously were not at the granny so ill leave it at that. For anyone that was there, they saw a game that saw both teams in winning positions. As for the lion Show, id like to see what you would do if the opposition needed 8 an over off the last ten in a grand final. Oh thats right, you guys have not been in that position. Hopefully your recruiting is as good as you say and Darley will be challenging next year. Then we will see how your team takes pressure.

You surely aren't talking about Chris Morris from Point are you? Sure he was a very handy bat about 15 years ago but he's well into his 40s now and helping us out in the 5ths when he's not down the beach.

I'd like to meet you one day Pidgeon. You are definitely one of the strangest, most out-of-touch people I've ever come across. I enjoy how you are obviously passionate about cricket but you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about......ever.

You remind me of that footage of little Johnny Howard trying to bowl a tennis ball with the Australian troops. You're keen to appear knowledgeable and your heart's in the right place but you're f**king hopeless. A cricket tragic.

You surely aren't talking about Chris Morris from Point are you? Sure he was a very handy bat about 15 years ago but he's well into his 40s now and helping us out in the 5ths when he's not down the beach.

this forum is quiet amusing. after winning the grand final the mt clear bashers are still out, thought maybe they may have moved on??
as for the darley game i remember at least 6 players (and more at times) on the fence in the last 10 overs, for you people up the highway that may struggle to count the maximum amount of fielders inside the circle at one time was 3, thats not negative play then???
i dont know about others but id rather be a part of a team that outplayed others , no matter the style, and have a premiership medal at the end of the year...
i dont think i need to stick up for the mounties much more as the successful history says it all!!

Im not bagging Mt Clear one bit. There a great club and yes there history does speak for itself, dont mean some of us cant come along and try and knock them off at there on game.... And some have....
