Re: CMCA- Ommies to remain in top grade

I think he means if the game continued with CHARLIE at the crease the result may have been different.

Also watch out for POINT REIWOLDT burger, the saints are hitting form at the right time unlike the DOGGIES. And it was good to see Max Hudghton named in the squad of 40 for All Australian honours, about bloody time the bloke plays in a undermanned and under sized back line and does hes job each week always putting hes body on the line.
I dont think he will get the final nod but he should get a guernsey next to roo and ahead of Hayes and Fisher.
Go Saints bring on the cats

dont rate max.
Name for me then a full back you rate, and not one that wins alot of ball.
One that is team orintated who sacrifices there own game.

We know what he means. But a couple of golden ducks in a row and a never a score against us says that he probably wasn't a big chance of making many.

thScarlett. And don't give me the crap that he doesn't play on the best players cos we've read anough of that already. Yeah, thsometimes he doesn't but he's still the best full back.
Out of sight, out of mind, but McPharlin goes alright. The fact that he plays in WA and goes forward alot ruins his reputation as a quality back.
Max goes alright aswell as Croad.

What's with Charlie and walloped?
Yes i'm aware that LD is about 5/6 against Charlie but if the right decision was made, it could have been 4/12 or 4/18, and thanks brett, 2 wallops might have altered the result.

It was also very obvious that BB had his mind on other things and i guess it was about time the ES boys carried him through a couple of games as he's carried them through plenty.

Smash you were probably pooing ya pants as that sitter went out towards GM

Nah mate. GM has the thsafest hands in the business. I nearly swallowed my beer in exthcitement when i thsaw the ball going his way. I've never thseen him drop a catch. I thought "thsick", we're in the Grand Final.

Moore is a star on the rise, and good point with McPharlin he should get a spot on the bench for versatility to go forward and back.
But how would Max go with, Milburn, Harley, Enright, Mackie & Rooke next to him.
And the fact the Geelong mids don't allow the opposition to a whole lot of inside 50 entries might make hes work alot easy.
Nothing against Fisher, Gilbert, Raph Clarke, Goddard and Gwilt. Just hardly the Geelong backline.
So maybe you can think of someone else, like a Tent Croad who is handy.

******** footy off its big cricket for a reason.
Don't really want to get into too much footy talk either but C.Bolton from sin city has a fair record over the years. And as for Max, he is one of the worst examples going around for young kiddies. Best tantrum thrower in the business, has really got to learn to keep control of his emotions as his antics just look disgraceful from both a team and individual perspective. Probably just another example of the cultural problems that have been at STK FC for decades.

Hey Spot,

Good comment, there are plenty of sites around where some of these pretenders who think they know something about footy can go to, fairdinkum, its a cricket site for gods sake.

Brett, you sound like you know everything about everything, i'd be more worried about your upcoming problems with your first year of coaching.

A tip, '' keep it simple '' don't try to be Mike Sheahan, otherwise you might confuse yourself.

Re: CMCA- Ommies to remain in top grade

Seriously Brett... give the footy talk a rest. You have bigfooty to do that, not BIGCRICKET. I joined thinking there would be relevant discussions on the coming cricket season. Instead we have you and your life story, "how are the kids" type of questions with Burger (appropriate for personal email), and now footy garbage.

What is your name? Sugar
Do you have any comments? I am happy to see the Daniher favourites move on from the club. Players who are more interested in their own stats, and the pats on the back after the odd win is why the club has gone backwards. Give Bailey a clean slate. As far as I'm concerned ANYONE is tradeable.

As you can see Brett, the ANA website is the place to be if you wanna talk footy

Sugar, then why get on here any write that, how is that any different..(nothing to do with upcoming season??)
Nothing wrong with asking how someone is, I would think that's being polite?

So enlighten us to what's happening in the CMCA as you sit on the board of every committee in the land!!
Any news from "The George" players etc..

At least you put yr name to your post, for that i give u credit

Re: CMCA- Ommies to remain in top grade

ANA Hater (top name btw), if you know enough about the CMCA, then you'll know who I am. As for the ANA forum, ANA people can do whatever we like on it. Thi is Big Cricket. If you hate us, why are you bothering to copy/paste comments from OUR site?

Burger, I'm only on one committee these days - ANA. As far as I know our boys have been sweating our ar$es off twice a week for the past 5 weeks in order to be competitive this season. Hoping our kids take the next step this season.

Re: CMCA- Ommies to remain in top grade

ANA hater, i dont think you have said one positive thing on this forum. Perhaps you are one of the many older CMCA cricketers that are bitter that the game has past them by.

I agree with all of the above ******** off to BigFooty.com.au!

Brett...Backman staying or going this yr?
