Love playing Riverside, but not enough to drop myself down, my form / ability always takes care of that. Started of in B grade last few seasons when numbers are a bit low, then end up in C grade. The positive is I get to play Riverside twice a season.

Cheers

yeah your probably just not up to it are you big fella. did theyhave you batting at 10 and fine leg to fine leg for those games in b grade

He was president at the time so if the current situation stands he pretty much could've played where he wanted to I would think.

Dear Beamer, it is refreshing to have someone on this site that actually knows something about our local game. I am sick to death of reading the crap that comes from 100% Bull's mouth and yes, you are right I also remember him playing for Bundy's 'C' grade - loud mouth and a big sledger (mainly against the kids). I can't remember him playing to many Barclay Reserve games during the Bundy's better years. And before you and your Jerry Gee mate (the Prez) chime back in I think Macleod are a huge chance to win both games today. No Stu Adams no Bundy.

Re: DVCA Barclay Reserve

What about the Creek boys today ?
Huge outright wins presumably moves us to the top of the table.

All over before tea on day 2 .. questions to be asked of Mernda?

Think you'll find Beamer was batting for me Grandstand. Looks like you were half right today.

Re: DVCA Barclay Reserve

Mernda are going very ordinary in all their senior grades because for the last few years they may have lost more juniors then they would ever have had, because not to many people want to play juniors where they lose every week, so they leave, bring no up and coming talent to reinverse their struggling sides. doesnt he;p that not to many people live around that area.

Sitting second in BS....not to shabby?

How do you lose more that you have???

Many years ago that was a argument about Mernda but I would have thought it would be a growing area with many moving in. I know four blokes from my club that have moved in the area.

:):):D:D

Go back and have a good look at where Mernda are struggling mate...

Sitting 2nd in BS, Sitting 2nd in E Grade and just out of the 4 in H Grade.

Looks like the only grade they struggle in is BR.

Sounds like you might have a little bit of sour grapes going on champion, are you one of the kids who couldn't handle losing?

Clubs like Mernda in years to come will be power house clubs of the DVCA. The amount of people moving out that way is madness, just have alook at clubs like Sth Morang over 100 milo kids. You could say the same for Diamond Creek ,heaps of kids these new areas will leave the old clubs for dead in years to come!

Re: DVCA Barclay Reserve

Yeh, we have always had a lot of milo kids. But we don't rely on the future. Can't deny that we are one, if not the most successful club in the DVCA.

I am also, like many of the belief that the clubs in the growth corridors will be the most successful in the years to come. Clubs like Plenty, North Eltham maybe even my own club, Diamond Creek will be find the successes they have had for so long get harder and harder to come by.

Point well proven, great win by the boys without Stu.

I hope they build them quick Della because Plenty is on the slide if you are still playing B grade this week.
