they were no match for bundoora when they played

to be fair, we had a few guys out that are now permanent G Grade players.

Three of which that are now our 2 opening bowlers and first change.

Well it was a close game last time, next time we face will be at a difficult venue with some rather different personel due to the Sunday fixture.

Also, you did get out the star batsmen of G for his only score under 30 for the year. Red hot form with back to back tons.

do u play in the side?
care to reveal ur name?

The majority of games I've played this year have been in G but was dropped due to the changing to a One Day game last round and allowing for a guy to play his last game. So not sure if I'll be playing G or H that day.

And nah matey, I am nothing player in the DVCA but a cult figure at the MPCC.

And thats the beauty of BigCricket, the anonymity of the players. :)

I'm not quite sure who r.mclaughlin is, but I know adam very well. Was at his establishment yesterday as a matter of fact for a good old christmas family reunion haha.

And not sure why he isn't playing 1's lol, any Mill Park chums want to fill me in on this?

I have indeed play with him in one game this year mate, the drubbing that we gave Riverside where Adam (geez that sounds weird calling him that) made his ton. Was there on the pitch when he made it aswell.

And the reason is, he is unavailable for Saturday game's due to work commitments, so only plays on Sunday's.

So will be very handy to have him qualify for either of our F or G teams.

yea its a good grade for abit of fun also, and father son cricket. we also have a few young guns in our g grade squad who should go on to higher levels of cricket in the future with the likes of matt van bael.

yeah definitely not wrong g grade is good fun. and i was surprised that some of the teams take it seriously like its A grade but then again some people just go out to swing namely me. but i do find it hard to captain/coach the young guys because there are only a few years in our age difference being i'm 19 all the guys are 17/18 and they just dont listen.

yeah i think the key is to have an experienced senior player as your captain even if they arent the greatest cricketer just someone who people will listen to and respect more, the boys you captain probly look at you as more of a mate on the field?
