Funniest two things I have seen for many years last season, playing Macleod C grade at Windsor Park.

1. They had a non playing captain, didn't bat or bowl!
2. The drinks break (not tea) was taken in the kitchen of the clubrooms!

Going well boys!

Only watching this year not playing, but 'C' grade looks pretty ordinary this season from what I hear and read, pity as it use to be a great mix of fun and good cricket.

Not to mention half the team was pissed before the game even started

Thats not all bad, seeing plenty, riverside and diamos C grade teams they are pushing their younger, more talented players some experience againt some very good mature players, like Ryan Abbatangelo. Who could be playing A grade or above.

yeh cant be too bad when you have players like Matt Harvey who used to dominate in the juniors struggling to make some runs.
Abba should be playing higher aswell, a ton, couple of consecutive 50s after his ton and couple of 4fas surely earns you a promotion to the twos, musthv done something to get in the coaches bad books lol

Seeing you back in C grade may drag me out of semi retirement, it would be a good way of getting some of the frustration out of my system. Having said that I've missed out on playing my two favourite teams, Plenty and Riverside.;)

He could play A grade if he still actually trained and started caring about cricket. He doesnt do either and his best mate has been play D grade about to be C grade so thats another reason why he is playin such a low grade

plenty C grade side is ful of kids. Everyone is under 20 apart from the captain who is older but he doesnt play every game. So there a weeks when every player for plenty is under 20. Similar in D grade, you guiys say plenty is falling apart with all this young talent devoleping

definatley not bud. even though most of their other good juniors never get a mension they can still be quite dangerous if not respected, for one tim forthergill, i dont like the kid to much, but he makes it hard to attack him because of his pace and his line, you definatley cant just swing your arse out at him

Wait on a sec ther bud, did you not see the made 99 (brain explosion) in his only c grade game. he knows he is to good a bat for C, but works himself into a fit in b grade and convinces himself he wont be able to play his natural attacking game and instead blokes for the whole time he's at the crease

would be nice, both e and g grade looking in a good position for it, and c grade should go very close also :):D

Re: DVCA - C grade and below G grade

quite possibly the 2nd most underrated garde in the dvca, g grade is actually quite good competition because of the mixed variety of teams. my side DCCC and i am skipper we are all under 25 but i play with some kids who are going to be awesome cricketers in 5 - 10 years

i have played against some of the up and coming stars and i have played along side them. so just watch out coz some of those g grade players you knock may just surprise you with how far they will go.

supercoach out

yea its a good grade for abit of fun also, and father son cricket. we also have a few young guns in our g grade squad who should go on to higher levels of cricket in the future with the likes of matt van bael.
