yeah i think the key is to have an experienced senior player as your captain even if they arent the greatest cricketer just someone who people will listen to and respect more, the boys you captain probly look at you as more of a mate on the field?

Re: DVCA - C grade and below

Bundoora's C grade are i'm pretty sure unbeaten this season
absolute freakish team lead by the gunn captain Darren Smart.
is anyone going to be able to beat them or are they just
gonna win the Grand Final unchallenged ? I think Creek will
be there only challenge.

Re: DVCA - C grade and below

best sledger there's ever been in the game of DVCA cricket would have to be Craig Vaughan. retired at the moment but he'll make a comeback and first game back he plays against riverside he'll sledge the shite out of all of them. c'mon vaughan'y make a come back.

I highly doubt they'll go unchallenged...Creek always put up a good fight and have some pretty handy players. Riverside should be a bit stronger after the break...I won't talk them up too much but I think they'll be competitive. Don't know about the Bundoora team being 'freakish' but their bowling line up is certainly one of the best attacks I've seen in C grade for a while and their batting was very solid. Certainly are the team to beat but finals are a totally different story and anything can happen so I don't know about them going unchallenged. We'll have to wait and see

Re: DVCA - C grade and below

i heard the mclaughlin cousins failed again today... both with ducks at north eltham and mill park. its a shame that adam at mill park will be playin G grade for the remainder of the year to tear apart slow, inexperienced bowling attacks. Mill park premiers F,G and H grade

Bundoora 3/360+ yesterday, and not at full strength, looking ominous, might have to get on the bandwagon.

Going to be very hard to beat and it will take something special to knock them off but I just thought 'unchallenged' is a big call. Funny game cricket particuarly in finals...we're just going to have to wait and see when it comes around.

yeah what a freak. must have played some arousing drives in that knock. riley's gonna be playing for Australia in a couple of years, along with Ben russel and Mitch Taplin. gunns of the game.

Notice that all your predicted premierships for Mill Park are in the lowest grades in seniors. coz your club is shit. thats if you play at mill park.
