Good to see some sides to get up in round 1 not like last year
hopefully they can continue that for the hole season and can put them
into finals.:D:D

panton hill have bascially had a mass exedus, have a couple of mates that play up there and they basically said if you can hold a cricket bat you will get a game, pretty disapointing

Lol we also have a prawn as well!!
We're not getting ahead of ourselves but for the 1st time in along time we are playing as a team and have put in a lot of hard work in the pre-season
As the bear says we will do a hell of a lot better then last year and wont finish on the bottom

bats in a close one over mont (shaw the key wicket early, just a slogger from all accounts)

college over thomo (solly to continue his extras bowling, off the pitch)

franks over NEW ( cant wait to see franks in a 2 day game so there batting line up can unleash and we can see if there the real deal)

BU over MP (ill stick by my MP over-rated comment)

Morang over w'sea but a close game

Bridge over panton hill, PH very close to folding i have been told)

I was an interested spectator at the Mont, Bundoora United game on Saturday at Anthony Beale Reserve. Who was the little fat beachball from Montmorency smashing the ball everywhere ?

Whats wrong with little fat beachball people smashing the ball around ?

How did Mont look ? And will Bundoora struggle this season, seen big Flacky in the 1s as well things must be looking up.:rolleyes:

-fact is, the bowling wasnt too bad, i scratched around a bit and had some luck. Believe me, we aint getting ahead of ourselves, just comitted to being more competetive than last year. Yeah, i know, that shouldnt be too hard. But we wont finish on the bottom like most of the Big Cricket experts predicted.

I have nothing against little fat beachballs and the one from Mont looks OK. I think United will struggle a bit this year.

Yarrambat kept Mill Park to 130 some one must be able to bowl.

Any one from Mill Park can you tell us is it true you guys dropped 8 plus catches?

yeah pretty much, they've got a whole heap of blokes either moved on or not playing, there not playing due to work, travel, moved to other clubs, as i siad if u can hold a cricket bat you'll get a game in the 2s

Can South Morang win two games in a row ? I think they can but only if Jarrod Lester can make runs again. He must be a big chance if the bowling not to quick.
