Mate, playing 1st XI local cricket isn't a dream... it's something to do on a Saturday afternoon. I couldn't care less what grade I play... it's just for fun. Yeah, everyone wants to do their best each week for the cap they wear... but at the end of the day, it's hardly a dream.

All the best mate... keep up the annoyance :D

Wat i have heard is that thommo has given steve a big pre season
and he is ready to step up. Apparently he is goin to kill it this year

Theres a vibe around the place like i haven't seen in years
Everyones been putting in a big pre-season under the new coach and yeah hopefully looking at a completely different morang this year

With the bear starting us off with a nice 52 and the goat taking a mind blowing 8/16 off 11.2 overs we looking at a having a really good year

Interesting to see Jarrod Lester made 52 for South Morang, Hurstbridge must be really struggling for bowlers this year.

Looks like a good stock of well established livestock at Morang. No-one there should get too ahead of themselves though... it's only Round 1.

-fact is, the bowling wasnt too bad, i scratched around a bit and had some luck. Believe me, we aint getting ahead of ourselves, just comitted to being more competetive than last year. Yeah, i know, that shouldnt be too hard. But we wont finish on the bottom like most of the Big Cricket experts predicted.

who would have thought Whittlesea and St francis top two after round one, i would'nt get to far ahead of yourself boy's it a long season. good to see Morang get up, might create a bit of havoc to the so called rated teams. Big Mick leading the charge for the Gleeson, what odds on the big guy to get it?

what has happened at panton Hill their 1's and 2's losing, with the likes of motschall, Ford and wenbern they should still have got over Whittlesea.

Any news on the so called "good players" in the comp did they all live up to expectations?
