Not sure but I don't think Richards is under 25 either.Keogh's a Pom and Slacky, Miller, Hanson and Taylor aren't anywhere near 25.

Hanson was handy in 2009/10 but last season he was about as useful as a glass cricket bat, have heard he's moved on. I've also never seen Frosty Miller score a run. I'll pay Richards though, he's a class act.U/25 GUNS:
Richards (Ash)
Slack (Mulg)
Keogh (NB)
Dinnoson (Deep)
Thomas (Maz)
Miller (MA)
Not 100% sure of age, but Hanson (Deep) is a star and Taylor (MA) also worthy of mention. Can't think of many more from this age group.
We do play in a bit of an old mans comp but I would suggest there are plenty of blokes under 25 that are good contributors and aren't that well known and/or their stats don't stand out yet. Many of these players are improving little by little every year. If clubs can hold on to them and they don't decide to either go to a district club or spend friday nights on the booze then these are the players that can build an era of success at a club rather than ex premier players chasing coin.
Richards is quality but not sure how old he is. He also plays on that tiny ground and dead wicket.Hanson was handy in 2009/10 but last season he was about as useful as a glass cricket bat, have heard he's moved on. How old is Dineen? He has been a fantastic player for that club but can't keep going for ever. I think he as already retired once and made a comeback. I know they have a lot of young players so who knows what they can do. Most people speculating about who is going to go down don't have much idea of what is going on at the club they are making a judgement on.Both sides up from A Grade were young. Boronia with a talented left handed off spinner/ batsman and young keeper batsman. Marcellin's left handed opening batsman hits a hard ball and not a bad bowler as well, have a couple of others who showed a bit in glimpses. Anybody heard the rumour that Dinneen will be missing for a large chunk of the season? Surely that puts them as favourites to go down
I would think he is closer to 45 than 40. Agreed still a gun though. Interesting to see if he can step up to Dunstan again though. He would have to be pushing 40. Still quite handy taking 35 odd wickets last year and making 100 in their semi final.

In MyCricket he has: 1397 runs @ 32.49 with 1 century from 45 games. Solid but not spectacular.
Slack has played 1 season - 129 runs @ 16.13
Miller - 528 runs @ 26.4 from 27 games 0 centuries
Laws - 926 runs @ 37.04 from 29 games 2 centuries
Hanson - 372 @ 23.25 from 20 games 1 century
McDermott - 361 @ 32.82 from 11 games 1 century
Andrews - 469 @ 23.45 from 32 games 0 centuries
Gatehouse - 237 @ 23.7 from 10 games 0 centuries
122 games? Surely can't be under 25 unless he started at around 14.Based on those stats I would have to say my pick (one no one else has mentioned) Crawford would be the pick of the bunch.
122 games - 2449 runs @ 28.81 AND 104 wickets @ 26.66
122 games? Surely can't be under 25 unless he started at around 14.

Are you talking about Crawford from St Kevs? He has only played 8 Dunstan games according to MyCricket.
Handy average of 38.14.
Richards is a quality player and has performed in March which should be a key measure of the quality of player he is.
Hanson killed it in 09/10 but suffered like most bats in 10/11 with poor weather meaning unfriendly tracks to bat on. I also heard his performances at 1XI Premier were good so should be respected.
Slack, similar to Hanson, was up against it with the conditions but also heard his performances were very good at 1XI Premier level. He should also be respected based on what he brings to the table as a quality spinner who has opened the bowling at T20 1XI premier level.
Agree, Laws can play, tipping a huge year for him in 11/12.
Fuzz, you have mellowed. Last season your posts were alot more, shall we say direct. Miss your banter with Building Building and Southern Punter.Hanson never played a first XI game at premier level. Don't know where you heard that from.
Slack played 10 games in 5 years at hawthorn. Averaged 14 with the bat and took 2 wickets @ 89 with the ball.
You might need to get your facts right before you go around saying a certain person has had a good career at premier level. With those numbers they say he was only there to make up the numbers

Surely Bulleen would have to go close to going down this season. They were lucky to make it as far as they did last season and have lost a few players from what ive heard. GI will be looking forward to playing them again ! unfinished business i think.
Agreed ridiculous. They were in the GF last year. What a ridiculous thing to say.
Whats that got to do with it ? Porter isnt that flash, Judd & Tuckett are well past it and there only good player is Davidson.Agreed ridiculous. They were in the GF last year.
