There's a whole lot of good looking teams.

Anyone else thinking that if this were "real life", Gayle and Jayasuriya would've been gone long before the 7th round?

Yeah thats a good point lol, but I guess you cant play the game any differently. Thats why the WC dream team will be so good. Neways heres an update of my team to this point. Looking very strong in tests but one dayers are a tad bleak.

Re: Fantasy Domestic League Draft Discussion

Okay, the draft seems to be grinding down to a halt here over the past few days.

I'd really like to get this draft done in about a week, so we can start playing games.

I think it's time to change the time between picks from 24 hours down to 12 hours as of the start of the 9th round, which would be pick #57 for Will_85.

Anyone have any problems with giving people 12 hours now?

My thinking is that now that we're past the top 50 or 60, there's very little chance of 2 people wanting the exact same person. In all likelyhood, even if someone misses a draft pick, they'll still get the person they would've taken originally becuase the person that jumps ahead of them will probably be looking at someone else entirely.

Any objections?

Re: Fantasy Domestic League Draft Discussion

I agree wholeheartedly. 12 hours is enough time for anyone in any time zone to have a chance to make their pick. Also the point about not wanting the same person is well made.

Re: Fantasy Domestic League Draft Discussion

Alright. I'll subscribe to that !

Re: Fantasy Domestic League Draft Discussion

Just to alert everyone. Can you guys collect averages/ & also Bat type i.e R/l & Bowling type I.E FM/F/OS/LS

Would help me greatly with putting the teams together

Re: Fantasy Domestic League Draft Discussion

Not a problem. Have you decided on a sim to use? Just as a heads-up, if it's the Syedur Rahman one, you have to round the averages to whole numbers.

Yup. I think thats the best sim to use as it spurns out every ball.

Re: Fantasy Domestic League Draft Discussion

Holy smokes, I didn't even realize Trescothick counts as my wicketkeeper!!!!!
I figured I'd have to pick up Ramdin or somebody.

You mean Saqibul? He rules!!!
I thought about waiting and trying to pick him up in a later round, but I figured I'd better grab him now.

Saqibul Hasan's stats
Batting average of 45, bowling average of 24. He'll get the 15th needed ODI in Zimbabwe in a few days. Too bad he hasn't played any tests yet.

Suffice it to say, he's an automatic starter in all of my ODI's.
