Re: Geelong Cricket '08/'09(gca/bpca)

I think Marsland is the pick of the bowlers for the future. Only young and quick.
I believe Blair Allen is playing in Melbourne somewhere, and although rumours of Drysdale floated about, Leigh Allen to stay at East.
Not that many quicks coming through the ranks.
Sean Bogan will be a great get where ever he plays.
Zanoni can bowl quick and has a big heart. Bowls 30 odd overs when he should be in hospital. Awesome!
I think Peter Quick still bowls the best short ball going around. An amazing athlete for a 40 year old!

is this forum full of thomson people? mate i dont really care what he's on just know its more than thomson people wanna admit.
The only connection he has to thomson is money, if he was gunna play just to be with he's mates, id suggest he'd still be at NDCC or st albans

think you'll find his been mates with salts for a while and also played footy wit the other coach, o'neil at newcomb whilst salts was there coaching.
alot of the 3rds and 4ths at thommy are newcomb power footy boys aswell thru the connection with premiership players salts and oneil.

i think murray and jones are the only one that would play div 1, bosworth as well. as for salts, standard to high, and it would sort o'neill out as for cutajar and dalhaus, u gotta be kidding. and o'leary has the skill but cant really commit.
someone said stalbans paying addy. hahaha, i think he won the duck award last year, so they must be paying per run.

salts has got div1 100s ando,
dahlhaus could stil mix it and oleary would be the 2nd best keeper bat in geelong bhind borevac

hey clearing pickets just wondering how the feeling was around the club last season without tsitsas pearce and kelson around. could imagine there would have been some happy people about the place even without the on field success

good cricketeres but lets just say no-one missed there off-field antics.
newtown are better off without them in the longrun.
got some godo kids coming thru

i heard marsland has committed to st albans president for next year, wanted to play he's footy and cricket at the club he's from.
Time will tell tho, long way away.
I suggest st albans worry about this year in the BPCA and not look that far ahead.

Dream GCA Country Week side: If we are talking about players being at the top of their game, this would be it: B Hauenstein (C), G Talarico, G Harper, S Loftus, B Stacey, B Allen, A Clark, R Kiddle, G Kelson, D Koliba, B Anderton, D Lowery, D Fanning, D Morgan. Open for discussion.
