Marshall deck has had many good curators over the years, its been a road for as long as i can remember. ya drive past in morning, someones on the wicket, drive past in arvo, someones on the wicket. they do take care of it. Its always had good comments. pity they cant make more runs on it.

Not so much players as I said, supporters and just the vibe of the club it was arrogant and there shit didn't stink attitude really got up alot of people.
As for NCCC & SJCC being arrogant well do you even know anyone from them clubs? or do you just say that because there professional club set ups thats how you think they would be?

Talk about the vibe at Newcomb, what about out at Joeys and Newtown? From what i have seen they look down there nose at you if you dont roll up to the game in a Mercedes or BMW. Talk about shit not stinking.

I am not sure about how much "Cash" was offered to any players. I frankly dont care. NDCC has no more arrogance about it than any other club. If NDCC had all the GCA Div1 Players that started at NDCC, they would most likely have the accolades and honour board to Back up this so called arrogance. As for the Shane Harrison comment thats one man.

i think renny hit the nail on the head SSJ. dont think you would beat the genuine div2 sides but no probs with the dregs though. most bpca sides would beat the dregs at present. if your club has 4 junior sides, 4 seniors and is clearly stronger than most in gca2 they will prob put you in. but dont be surprised if all the clubs bark up and make you go div 3 first and then earn it by winning club championship. GCA run by cock smokers who love power. i wouldnt accept div3, rather play BPCA than play that shit and becme a leyland brother.

I know i keep bringing it up but Thomson are one of the best sides in Div 2, and we keep knocking them off in our practice matches. I know everyone will get defensive and say that they are only practice games, but to do it consistently surely counts for something. I don't think that it is pure coincidence we have beeten them each time we have played them. We cant be too far off the pace.

And that's the problem you have struggled to keep all your players and there must be a reason behind that, a lot of players that have played at NDCC and have moved on almost all of them I have spoken to have said they'd never go back.

Our bowlers this week will be Jonesy, Mckay(med/swing) and Sheridan(left arm med) with Blayne Wegerner to bowl off spin and Nick Mallyon bowls handy seamers. Our bowling is handy even without Muzz for the BPCA.
I'd hope we could defend 376 or the stand in skipper might get the sack for good

If players choose to swap and change clubs there is not much that can be done about it. We offer a pretty good group of Guys to play cricket with. The "vibe" around the place is pretty good. Maybe your upset because no one offered you the "Cash" wrong 'un

NDCC copped a good spray from wrong'un, has a personal hatred of the Dino's, That's OK.

As far as the Kids playing the one's don't you think that is a positive one.

Shiels and the others have not missed training at all, do extra on there own, very positive attitudes and know exactly where they are at. They are learning the game and will be much better for playing against the best crickets in our district. These are good young kids. They do have good players around them in the team.

As for sticky's selection, can't disagree with views. All I can say is that 15 unavalible (whole club) this round and with players in the two's, no one could play Sunday, stocks were limited. Most clubs will have this problem under the same circumstances. Who knows he just might chim in with a 20 or 30. he can hit the ball and if it is in his area, he'll have a crack.

Player wise at Newcomb great numbers & good feeling around the place. , depth wise falls away, but one thing I can promise everyone, Dino's will never lay down, we are a tough club and will fight out to the last punch. Yes you can kick us, bash us - we have dished it out and now it's our turn to cop it back. Bring it on I say, personally I love the slander, sledging, but one thing that I will never accept is deadbeats who cross the line with personal attacks. I've played hard, right on the line but never crossed it.

No matter what, once the game is finished, have always gone in for a drink and a chat, win-loss-draw.

Players will come and go for what ever reason (All clubs go through this) and to the best of my knowledge NDCC have never knocked back a clearence (unless finacial reasons). And as far as who gets paid, who didn't get paid (All Clubs, this is not unique to the DINO's) personally who cares.

As I stated in an earlier post "anyone is only worth, what someone is prepared to pay for that service."
