who knows. it might be what babb needs. get away from n&dcc and into a club like south.
NDCC have had more success than south barwon over the last 5 years.
I was speaking with a bloke from ndcc said babbsy teeing clubs up for if it doesnt work out. cant b a good sign

do we wanna talk on field, off field or both? on field, i cant remember ndcc making grand finals, off field ndcc are a rabble, coach quitting, players owed money. if babb wants to leave after one year at south, who cares, it a fair way away. prob go back to thomson where i hear he wanted but they were div2. got a lot of friends there. as for st albans getting turf. gotta do the hard yards in div3 first.

Yeah alot of hard work 2 be done but with blokes like Jason Murray, Chris Jones, Shane Cutajar, Sean O'Leary amongst others and if you throw marsland and possibly babb there for next year the hard yards might be made alot easier.
Also with the $400,000 upgrade to the rooms and $350,000 upgrade to the ground and turf wicket + equipment it'll be the place to be for peoplle that aren't scared of a challenge!!!
I hope babbsy proves everyone wrong and has a huge year in a successful team, he's a top bloke and south are a good club.@|

NDCC played finals for what 5 years in a row including gca2 premiership before they came up.
as for south watch yourself mate dont wane become 1 hit wonders do u? how many times have they played div1 finals? yeah once in decades so that aint overly successful is it?
NDCC have lost there coach but they always find a way to perform and play finals (which i dont think they will this year)
As for Babbsy well come off it guys he's div1 average is about 15 and he's never taking more than a 3 wicket hall so i wouldn't be too botherd where he plays.
St Albans won't go in2 div3 will take murgebulak spot in div2 next year div2 will b all turf and div3 hard decks, murge got regected for a turf grant.

6th- south barwon- also recruited well with jeremy babb and jarrod moore. im just not sure what jeremy babb does now? is it spin or medium pace? south missed a quality spinner last year maybe its the piece of the puzzle missing. as we know alot depends on brad haurnstein and he never fails to deliver great player and expect another big year, Also brett anderton is the X factor in gca for me if he fires you can move them up to maybe 1st or 2nd. premiership threat big time!

so which one is it then?
a quality recruit or a dud?

no money left after paying smiljanic!!!!
drinking pots outer old mugs at godfrey st this season

considering your allience seems to be with st albans, i'd have a hint at saying that murray, jones, o'leary, cutajar, addy and now benci are all on a little bit of coin at the so called supersaints, wouldnt be surprised if a few others were aswell.

maybe only saltamachia and smiljanic on coin at thompson

well he hasnt taken his cricket to seriously in the last couple seasons, was captain of the u21s a couple years ago.
if he decides he wants to play properly at south, he will be a great recruit, i think haunstein will put him on the right path and playing with his best mate ando will help aswell.
good bowler and very very handy batsmen.
