Didn't see him bat today but Peterson from Grovey must go allright.
36* in a short space of time against a decent attack catches the eye.

I think Stowy dropping him on a duck after Gary Kelson had just been bowled would have given Leopold a good shot. He did play some good shots after the life he was given. Leopold had very attacking fields and he made the most of some wayward bowling and the field all up.

I think Stowy dropping him on a duck after Gary Kelson had just been bowled would have given Leopold a good shot. He did play some good shots after the life he was given. Leopold had very attacking fields and he made the most of some wayward bowling and the field all up.

Wasnt there, but dont all teams have attacking fields in the first 10 overs, whether they are bowling at the end of the day or not? Or when u say attacking, did they have 5 slips, 2 gullies, and a short leg?

And b4 u go asking if I'm from Grovedale, like Ando, Im not. Actually, I like going to watch u blokes. Hornet, all class. Is 240 enough?

Pretty much more attacking than normal with 4 slips, 2 gullys, 2 short legs on occasions. He still played some great shots though.

240 is not a bad score, possibly a par score on the ground. Runs on the board. Bowl well, get early wickets and the pressure builds. They do have some good bats in their line up for sure.

Thomson's changerooms got broken into during the week.
Couple cricketers had some things stolen.
Anyone from your club gets any of the following below, it could be stolen.

1 GM Maestro
1 Gray Nicholls Gladius
1 Green Albion Helmet (new version)

Anyone hears anything about them, let me know.

that gear might actually get to spend some quality time in the middle.
As most people know thomsons deck is a batting paradise and was no different on saturday, and at one stage i thought the wheels were gonna fall off when corio were at 3 for 56 from 45 overs, but to there credit they ended up with 230-240, and being the smart bloke that you say you are riss, i would have thought that winning the toss you would have batted on the thomy highway but nooooo. we'll have a bowl thanks. funny game cricket.

I concur with Dazza, wasn't much fun saturday. Although i laughed a little bit when Adrian "Click" Saltalamacchia dropped the 2nd of his 3 chances.

As for the toss, moved around early enough on a new wicket to warrant bowling. 8 dropped catches didn't help, the wicket will only be better next week.

240 in 85 overs = 2.8 an over.

Bat 85 and we will win, funny game cricket.

yes that is very true..... i will not say this persons name but all i will say its only over $2!! and for sean picking to bowl, corio havnt made a score over 120 b4 satdy, the wicket done a bit early! (my bowling wasnt the best)
if we hadnt of dropped our 8 or so catches we would of restricted corio to atmost 160. so it wasnt really a bad idea, just poor fielding led corio to get away from us!

every deck does a bit early for the 1st 10-12 overs then its a highway, thomson's deck is the worst for it and lasts for about 6 overs
