all i remember from that game was coggsy blind as a bat going out on a hat trick ball. for memory, i think one j. babb was the second wicket in that hat trick too
i was behind the bar

I took the winning wicket & made a few runs. We were blessed that year. Our 2nds made the grand final and won as well but as it turned out, they got about 4 blokes back from the 1sts and we did likewise from the 2nds. We had a bloke take 6 for and a bloke take a hat-trick. A little kid (could have been Babbs) was actually the hat-trick ball and i had Cogsy caught behind to win the game.

yeah that sounds about right actually.
yeah babbsy was only about 12 or 13, cause i was 11 or 12, it was our last year as st mary's i think for memory.. and this is our 10th year as guild st marys

when i was in the u14's, we got bowled out for 13 one game.
i made 4, the other opener made 5, and there was a wide.

i also played a game in the 3rds, ironically st mary's v guild. guild belted us around the park for 640 or something, down on king loyd #2. corey povey made 200 odd, some other nuffy made 180 odd. very painful day.
if i remember correctly, i was 12 or 13 and fell asleep for 2 overs at fineleg.

and about 3 or so seasons ago, our 3rds played north shore. north shore made 500 or something, and our boys chased it down with 5 wickets in hand. t mahieu made 262, b turley 148* with a couple of other guys making30's and 40's.
in that same match, s bowman for north shore, who's highest score prior to that game being 40 or something, made 202. 2 double centuries, with 1000 runs score in the same game.
i might be wrong with the scores, they might of made 400 and we made 500, but either way, jesus christ!

thomy v geel cement u/16 bout 12yr ago. cement make 7. randall 5/2, double h/trick. 2 day game over in a day, dunne and daniels hammering the bowling.

We, as in the Thomson All Star U13's, once bowled Guild out for 12 in the U'13s.

Big Bearded 12 year old Matty Featherston took match figures of 14-20 or something like that.

I'm sure Rocket's got the scorecard at home somewhere.

P.I. 11 let the double hat-trick go mate, your flogging a dead horse ;)
