nah really not mate its funny only a couple of times lol but i did go to my cousins engagement party and yes i was very hung over. i understand where everyone is coming from and i did say guild all the way i still am.but im really just wanting to play back at grovey and i will go back to guild at some stage. i have talked to a lot of people.
barry and i have talked about playing back at newtown so the thought of playing divi one was there years ago but i needed a knee reco that didnt go as well to plan. it has come good and i want to test it out but not on hard wicket! i have told guild a few times i would rather play 2s if thats on turf than 1s cause it does hurt. talked to my uncle and other family members they say do it now they know my situation my parents were devo when i left grovedale when i told dad he was like that took how long but i can go on and on im sure you dont want to hear or me type it but i just want to play cricket i know i have msged some silly shit i thought this site was a laugh but its a little bit more serious than i thought and any other questions i will answer...im really sorry if this doesn't make sense cause i just woke up its 4:30 in the morning i have to go to work
is this site just south barwon and s.a?
ive have talked to heaps of people saturday night yes while i was out. about this site and been told by different people who everyone is lol i wish i didnt put my name on hear. i dont know any of you guys and like wise. i have played a lot of gca in the past i just thought i might have got in touch with old mates on here thats all

here's one for the statisticians..
what's the record for most runs in a season?
and most wickets in a season?
also, highest invididual/team scores?
lowest team scores?

when i was in the u14's, we got bowled out for 13 one game.
i made 4, the other opener made 5, and there was a wide.

i also played a game in the 3rds, ironically st mary's v guild. guild belted us around the park for 640 or something, down on king loyd #2. corey povey made 200 odd, some other nuffy made 180 odd. very painful day.
if i remember correctly, i was 12 or 13 and fell asleep for 2 overs at fineleg.

and about 3 or so seasons ago, our 3rds played north shore. north shore made 500 or something, and our boys chased it down with 5 wickets in hand. t mahieu made 262, b turley 148* with a couple of other guys making30's and 40's.
in that same match, s bowman for north shore, who's highest score prior to that game being 40 or something, made 202. 2 double centuries, with 1000 runs score in the same game.
i might be wrong with the scores, they might of made 400 and we made 500, but either way, jesus christ!

My brothers under 15 side once bowled Wallington out for 7. He had two hat trick ball catches dropped and finished with 5 fa 1

I remember playing 3rds on the Postage Stamp against St Marys many years ago and we made around 650. I went in at no.3 and din't get to bat until about half an hour after tea. Both openers made 120 each, I mad 60-odd and a couple of others made 50's as well. Murghe uses that ground now. It is a disgrace that it is used in senior cricket still.

sounds very similar to the game iw as talking about.. except corey povey made 200 opening.

I think from memory Povey won the league batting ave that season and we beat Guild in the final at King Lloyd. He was a very good lower grades bat.
