zanes good on his day but since he has been at moda there has been few of them, for my likeing he bowls too short but against a quality bat he would be pulled and cut to all corners. he went to moda with a massive rep and has done not much to impress me and many others. he drove out a few youngsters ie, josh finch(quit), brendan wemyss and others to other clubs in geelong.

ah ok.. well i guess the boys will find out tomorrow..
long time since any of thsoe guys has played turf, so i guess that works to our advantage.
hopefully our boys can get up, would be good to hold top spot going into the christmas break.
the draw in div 3 is rediculous though. all 3 grades play 3 different teams. the 1's are playing modda, we're playing lethbridge, and i dunno who the 3's are playing

I don't think wee-man will be at all restless tonight.

Lees would be a drop in the ocean pace-wise compared to some bowlers Fergilicious has faced.

i didn't say leesy would be the quickest bud.. read what i said properly. fergy probably hasn't faced someone that sharp for a while.. which might come as a surprise to him.
i didn't say it'll knock fergy on his arse and he'll struggle to make a run. cause i still think after an over or so of seeing it, he'll tonk anything we throw at him.
but what about his partner's around him? how will they go? i only know of fergy and daniel scott, who played with us a few seasons back, and i don't rate him that highly..

The fact he might not of faced anyone of this supposed "pace" from Lees for a while won't worry him and/or suprise, his too good for Division 3 and his stats back that up. 270 @ 135 with the bat and 15 @ 12.5 with the ball.

I haven't played against Moddewarre so won't comment on anyone.

We are in the same boat big fella. Our christams party is saturday night so we really dont have one either as we have to play the next day.
The reason why we play at thomson is becasue our ground is getting re-done (everyone knows that) but we wanted a neuteral ground and Thomson is a good deck and always has been and hopefully will continue too aswell.
I have to disagree with forfeiting your home game as thats why it is called HOME GROUND ADVANTAGE.

C'mon Ants you should know that. Example; How good are Grovedale when they play at home and the East Belmonts of old.

Surely you should be able to play were you want. If NDCC wanted to play there home games at steglitz so be it. Why would NDCC want to play a home game at North Geelong which is 20mins away when they can play at Thomson which is 2 mins away?

ocean grove have won 1 game and had 2 draws that they were going to lose more likely. whats goin on with the 15/1 odds. :confused: watch out for the wallabies, shortening up each week:p

was talking to a div 1 coach yesterday. he said that d.koliba said "i'm just going to the highest bidder next year" who will it be ? can anyone shed any more light to this persitent rumour?

what a crock of **** i agree with ants why not play on the best ground available i can tell you i play for north and wasnt really happy that the ground had been changed lets just hope that pitch is better than we played on last year against east belmont. and also dont think its real fair to a club that was told three weeks ago that we were playing at north on the sunday only to be ball bagged with hardly any noticed. what about the tommy twos playing on sunday at king llyod on the hard stuff wouldn u think they would like to play home on the grass

hell my point is the game was organised to be played at north. hence for some stupid reason it was changed. hence im peeved cos its stupid changing it at the last minute cos y change it wen uve already accepted it. hence the barking dog went off tonight. the game could be played at mildura for all i care i just wish they hadnt changed there mind three or four days before the match which desroyed plans for our club. hence im that mad right now that seany andt strods wont be there. hence im sicking of saying hence. hence

mid way through the season pretty much... who will get promoted from Div 2 to Div 1? Mano looking good, and Murghe playing well both in the 1sts aswell as all grades... Both are very even in the Club Champs... Could the new turf wicket in the off season, see them getting promoted or will they stay down?

hence stop saying hence... but in all of that...and even jurassic park had a view.. but still.. as of monday we were playing at home.. why the sudden change of venue... i'll tell ya... newcomb = struggling..and north = bottom 6th this year.. therefore.. a useless bottom side doesnt wanna give us any advantage... even tho norths wicket and outfield is fairly fair for both sides... newcomb dont wanna give us an inch.. so wen we beat em in 2 weeks time.. not only will we win by that inch.. yet we'll win by wat the scoreboard says as well

Fire up there ants. Lets just hope you can back the rant up that your having. And just to let you know we have been playing at Thomson since ummm Round 3. So unless you have been reading the papers ( oh thats right the geelong Addy cant get it right either) you would have realised that NDCC's home ground has been Godfrey St 1XI + 2nd XI. i agree norths ground is fantasitc but when you go play at BPH do ring them and say " Our ground is better and i want to sit on Santa's knee on Sunday can we please play at our ground"

i didnt make that comment about us beating you easily and i wasnt the one that fired up. you quoted i bowl meat pies. i just wanna play now, im so sad that were called off. i spent all my money last night.
