This is all i've got to say on the matter;
-Ando, like many cricketers around town sometimes lets the heat of the moment get the better of him. Everyone has been guilty of that over the years, however in Brett's defence, despite the fact that he could be called a serial offender, he is obviously working on this aspect of his game. Too bad others around the place aren't. More importantly, i have known Brett off the field for a couple of years and he is a great bloke to have a beer with. I knew all the stuff about his behaviour before i met him and since i have made his acquaintence, i have found the man to be fantastic and it is a shame that others, as said, aren't similar and unfortunately are tossers off the field as well as on.
-Not sure how the Brad clause works but a captain can certainly be suspended for not controlling his players adequately. I'm not sure how many people would remember it but about 10 years or so ago, North Shore played Geelong West in a Div 2 Grand Final. It all started when G Talarico would not depart when dismissed by a catch in slips that he thought hadn't carried; umpires conversed, agreed that they couldn't give it out and the situation got worse from there. David Roach stormed the umpires' rooms at tea, pointing fingers and threatening them, the famous Scoble/Hirst collision later (a la Gillespie/Waugh) again flared things up again and at the end of the matter, Roach was out for a season or more, Poulter as well and Ty Watts for failing to control his players copped a ban. So, that's how the captaincy thing comes into it. Not saying that it applies here, just demonstrating how it happens. Anyway, that's enough from me.

Well, I think all captains are safe now after Clay Nelson got suspended at an investigation hearing last week and Illingworth was allowed to play and he was on the field when the incident happened. I'm not sure if the rule has changed, but I'm sure all clubs will use this as an example if their captains go

when did you become a moderator admin, stop telling others what to do.

Or what, you're not going to invite me to your birthday party? School-yard business this is crktluva, thought you were of age.

Let it go, let it go.

What's the full story behind the Nelson incident?

As far as I'm concerned the matters finished and he's copped his suspension which he is now serving this game. I just wanted to bring up the point that Illingworth didn't go, which I thought was a bit strange, cause he certainly didn't control him in the match

He is South's downfall.The club is bigger than the individual.
Everyone knows what to do when they play south.
He only thinks of himself and forgets about the team.Next club?
