That's a concern... However if you have a look at the number of posts that some people have on BigFooty it would put your worries to rest Boris. One poster in particular that I know of had something like 40 posts per day and was closing in on the 10,000 mark!

BigCricket has only just really started to take off at all this year. I read stuff on here last year from time to time and it would take some time to get anywhere. You can see the numbers of people joining around the same time as you are pretty high.

I know a few people from our league have only recently joined now that the local forum has taken off (sort of).
There are a lot of different forums on the BigFooty site too. I ran into a thread on September 11 this year on BigFooty that has been around since the incident, there are people actually commenting as the first plane hit.

Yeah that's longer than BigCricket for sure, you see a lot of other sites like The Animal Enclosure and such with very large numbers.
The problem when you get a lot of people joining you end up with some people without a full care of cricket posting and adding things they don't really know about, like on the BF cricket board. It won't be as bad here, but I sense that as more and more people join the length of posts and such will decrease and the quality will as well.
I like the way on here there are a lot of constructive thinkers that put forward and actually argument with evidence, not just 'this guy is great because he scores runs and he is great. That guy you said hasn't score runs this series so he is out of form'.
