Well I have found on this thread that some of the most constructive talk about cricket has come from it. Rampant and I have gotten some actual talk about games we have been in, rather than trying to comment about international games where we may know nothing about the inside deals.
Club chat doesn't work for me because, well obviously I'm the only one from this far north on here, or so it seems.

Well I'm not actually that far north, it's just that anyone else is from Brisbane and we keep beating all the Brisbane teams on fun days but they refuse to believe it.
I might expand the site a little myself and get a few guys from up here to come and join.

Well I just changed cricket clubs because of a slight move of house, so I went from a fully proffesional outfit to one that revolves around beer.
The captain is about 50 with a huge gut and more facial hair than you could believe and cares only about beer.

That is for C Grade though. It's never long when the younger ones like myself start playing to the time when they begin to play reserves. I have to start at the bottom again but I'm only expecting a couple of games before I'm in them. Not going A Grade this year due to shoulder injury though, if I make it.
There was just a 14 year old who took the spinners spot in the reserves so I think I might have a chance.
