Why has there not been any tough talk from both teams in this weekends Grand Final... I want to here there is going to be blood on the pitch and tough talk going on all weekend, not this; the pitch last week did this the covers didnt cover the wicket correctly. C'mon you weak pricks get on here and tell us why you are going to win and who is going to fire right up weather its short pithced bowling or making a name for yourself by taking on the opening bowlers from either team......

Blood on the pitch - Please one of you guys take this term to the game! Hopefully we might even see fits fly.. Now that will be worth going to watch.

I also agree J. Grant will drop his drinks and pie this weekend.... Nothing that he has not done over the last few weeks:eek:

Hopefully 2 full days to go.

What do you do if you are the Captain,Glenroy,are they strong enough to bat first and bat St Andrews out of it.

History says no,after the last couple of years,but they have improved or do they make St Andrews bat and then hope they can survive.

St Andrews love to bat 1st and make a score,but they have to get Glenroy out,so a very interesting cenario for the captains.

I hear on here that Glenroy are in the box seat,but we play two day cricket all year and there are not too many sides that can bat more than a day,so the result will not be decided that way.

How much pressure is their on Parker,as captain and the foundation of their batting lineup,will he stand up or succumb to the onslaught he is sure to get from the Big fella(Paul) Scotty and Tapner who are in good form.

Will Pipe,Greaney and others have the confidence to bat for long periods or not and what is a score they would feel happy about.

Will Glenroys attack be strong enough to keep St andrews lineup to achievable target(have a couple of good ones,but drop away)

Will somebody from left field for St Andrews stand up with the bat and support Neville and Gav and make a name for himself.

Looking from the outside,i see Newton showing why he is or close to the best bowler in the competition tearing Glenroys batting apart and ensuring they give themselves a chance to win.

Who is the best captain,one would say the runs are on the board and Dave has been there and done that before.

Love to be in it,but not to be and will be with my friends(lol)hoping for a good game of cricket.

My prediction is St Andrews in less than 2 days.

Gnome will you be taking a look at your new team this weekend, maybe you could rub some of the bowlers feet or get the oranges and cordial ready. That's about all they would want you doing next season for them, oh yeah plus being the mascot in the team photo:p

Just to let you know guy's The Socials won the flag yesterday in the 1 day 2 comp. Played Sunshine YCW who had only lost 1 game for the year (i think)...The Socials Smashed them.

Playing coach wanted for high Profile NWCA club that participated in finals and has retained all of its current playing list. Our current coach is stepping down and we require a coach that communicates well and has a proven record of consistent performance.

Players also wanted and if deemed suitable will be renumerated.
