Self indulgence?? Were you even at the game??

Did you actually see the bowling figures for that weekend?

WHY would Tuffer's take himself off, and tire his fast bowlers in that heat when the new ball was within 10 overs???

And just for the record - Hunter NEVER applied for the position of captain coach, the club asked him. You obviously believe you know it all and were the better person for the job, so why didn't you apply instead????

The simple answer is you're gutless. You couldn't even ask YOUR coach about why Grant wasn't being bowled, you had to post that rubbish on a public forum instead.

Great reply Sorcerer, I know I'm scared so they must be ********ting themselves.

Hello Everyone!

Just a little observation about the Grand Final Last Week. Especially the young fellow they call Pup.m You should have a reminder tattooed on your head stating " I will never give the finger or anything else of the likes to the opposition crowd as it may come back to bite me on the arse". Because Puppy my little grasshopper it looks like you aint sitting down for a whole year as you being a smart arse to the crowd did actually backfire as we are now laughing at you. So maybe over the off season you can wallow in your self pity on how cocky you were and still lost the game. Enjoy the loss champion.
Just a little obsevation about Scooby Doo, you are poo, and here's 2 fingers for you.

Im not sure how you define Infraction.

I didnt swear on my last message nor did i insult the liitle grasshopper all i did was merely point out that things can, and sometimes will bite you on the "ARSE". And that while ( in the heat of the moment) sledging is usually ok towards the opposition on the ground, there is no reason to give it to the crowd ( Especially when the crowd wasnt doing much at all except cheering their side). So get off your high horse because it Was an observation of mine that was surely going to upset a few people, but im sure there were a few that would agree with me also. Enjoy your Sunday School Pal.

So Scooby I guess what Paul Newton did to the St Mary's crowd when St Andrews drew level was OK then.
Pull your head you Jerk and keep your observations to yourself. Both Craddock and Newton showed a bit of passion for there respective sides and the game. and if a little bit of it spilled over to the side lines then all the better, it just shows they are playing for their colours. Oh and by the way I have not seen any comments on here that agree with you so I guess you are on your own.

Re: mmvca

Well done to both teams on fighting out a sensational GF that went right down to the wire. Congratulations to St.Andrews on completing the prestigious back-to-back flags, a great effort in this competition, and the first time it has been achieved since the inception of the MMVCA. Also well done to Darren Harris on winning the medal, a deserved winner.

Well done to Fridge on playing a key part in the win, yes I wrote him off, and he has stuck it up me with some crucial runs and occupation of the crease. Also the same to Kev Craddock, with two superb knocks, showing he is definitely capable of handling the pressure of a tense final.

Gav Tapner showed his true worth on the big stage, as did Scotty Wernham, and with these kind of blokes St.Andrews have the confidence in being able to win from any situation.

Already the rumours are circling about certain players' discontent with Jolley and whether they'll stay at Cole Reserve if he is still captain/coach next season. You'd have to say with the three-peat up for grabs he would be a certainty to stay on. And with the possibility of a couple of retirements/moves interstate, the St.Andrews purse will be well and truly open and splashed around. Which means they'll be an obvious contender again. One wonders whether they can survive in the years to come with a lack of youngsters coming through and only 1 junior team running around (I think). Heck, they might even need a few more Newtons!!!!!:D:D

Banno, with respect the St. Andrews CC is now the second most successful club in MMVCA history. We also have the most successful A grade team in the history of the competition with the most amount of A grade permiership flags since the inception of the MMVCA.

The club has not had Juniors for some many many years so the success of this club has relied little on Juniors the get us to this point so I see little reason why the club would fall down due to this fact.

This last paragrah is bs banno. Discontent?? After winning b2b flags. Get serious.

I heard the opposite. If Jolley left for the greener pastures of retirement some others may pull up stumps, not leaving if he stays on. where do you come up with this stuff????

Anyway your synopsis throughout the game was great and obviously you know a bit about the league.

Kong can play for another 5 years. No need for juniors. Gotta love the kong

Success breeds Success and St Andrews has in my time had Success both on and off the field.
Too fool yourself and others with comments regarding coaches ,players etc is only making the resolve of St Andrews stronger.
There was only one person who counts that was not happy with the coach and he is writing this reply, got the flick last year as 12th man and took Fridge under my wing and he has a flag this year. I was certain i was a big chance this year to be only dissapointed again.
My contract next year(on big dollars)will need to be reviewed and if the big dollars are not there i will be looking elsewhere. i am not happy only winning the meat tray twice and third in the tipping.

So to all detractors and sceptics,ST Andrews is the place to be and we will only hope that comments of arrogance ,big dollars etc keep coming as it only shows that as a club we are certainly doing it right.

Go Sainters
