Money Shield 2024/25

well done to Rosebank.
3/4 years in DVCA with premierships.
Back up to Barclay.
Would think they will need to recruit to compete but back in the top grade in emphatic style.

Not sure where to for Eltham. Just can’t seem to get it done. Great season from their bats.

I hate to say it but Rosebank just win.
I not sure what’s in the water in Reservoir but they get it done. I asked around & I think they’ve won 6/7 flags in the last 20 years.
Congratulations……

I suppose when a team gets relegated from a higher grade, they are expected to win the grand final in the year following.

That is a fair point - but how often does it actually happen.
Looking like some kids also played seniors as well this year for Rosebank.
Premierships don’t grow on trees.
They don't grow on trees - you're right, however I do expect Research to be contending next year in Money shield, and Rosebank perhaps not so much in Barclay

What about when the came into the comp and won mash shield, then won money shield the next year, then played finals in Barclay the year after?
Is that good enough for you?
Or maybe it’s the 10 A grade flags they won in 20 years in the nmca?
If my math is correct that would be an average of a flag every second year in the highest grade of a comp?
Please tell me what other clubs you know with similar records?
Cheers

If rosanna had gone to nmca instead of dvca, that record of 10 flags in 20 years wouldn't even exist.
No one rates that comp. It's a joke, hence why clubs continue to leave year in, year out

we will see an exodus from the NMCA next year by way of clubs and players. good opportunity for clubs recruiting into barclay / money. Strength of DV a big draw card.

You guys are delusional. Yes the NMCA has been a shit comp for the last 7 or so years. But from 2000 - 2015 they were a powerhouse local cricket club who played against some other very very good sides in the NMCA. Then did it in Heidelberg also.
Anyone who thinks they weren't is obviously envious of the success that club has had. Like I said, show me any other club that has a similar record and ill bow down

That's about the time the current regime took over...18 clubs gone but there doing a great job.................

Its alright Dougie, those 2 Money shield flags will sit proudly behind the bar I'm sure, along with the Barclay spoon they collected season prior.

Absolutely… along with the 12 A grade flags we’ve got hanging in our rooms.
It’s okay I understand most clubs only dream of having half the shields we have.
Darebin Council refuses to upgrade our rooms because the engineers won’t certify its integrity after we hang all our shields up.

We are all envious of your Jika premierships

This has to be a p155 take. I doubt anyone from Rosebank would be talking this crud.
Give it up dougie. I bet you don’t even play at Rosebank & just like stirring the pot. Wouldn’t surprise me if you’re involved in Nmca & trying to talk up how good your sh1t comp is. Your an embarrassment…..

Most clubs aren't kicking back with envy about 12 Jika flags.
Clubs like Rosanna are sipping beers and are proud of how many juniors from years gone by had just participated in a winning grand final .
I wonder how many Rosebank juniors played in the Money shield final on the weekend , just for clarification
