Heard that Sean Arnott will be coaching AT this season. Would leave Corio in a bit of a mess if true.

Has Michael Cox definitely left for St Albans? SBW; talk to me.

Nah Renny he's not with us, We decided to look away from another bowler (I think:confused:)
which is a good thing IMO, we've got quite a few young seamers coming through and wanted to save a seamers spot for a young kid. Will be a good chance for the kids to bowl alongside Miller, Murray and Jonesy I reckon.

We still haven't got an assistant coach as yet.

For me personally the role of asst coach is a bit of a crock, we aren't chasing anyone to do it really, prob come from in house.

Has anyone else noticed the Ballarat thread talking about a couple of players coming across to Lara from Ballarat this season. Also on the Lara website it mentions the two players as recruits for the season. Must be some decent players, or at least one of them seems to be.

Yates is a freak. Has dominated the BCA for years. Made about 600 runs last year and 20 odd wickets i think.

Not sure IPL, was talking to him about it on Saturday and he said he wants to become a swan. No ugly duckling jokes intended :D

This is true, he was told by Brad that if he came over the Australian Country side was looking for a off spinner that bats a bit and he was the man for the job if he joined the swans!

well we have always been light on for spinners and if he is your understudy then you could possibly compare him to the Warne/McGill comparison !!

Not Bob Holland/Murray Bennett?

Renny, I think only you and I (and not many others) would remember those names, from back in the day when such legends as Glenn Trimble and Chris Matthews actually got to represent Australia.

Sorry, off thread a bit, but do like to live in the past a bit much for my own good!
