New Zealand in Australia

Re: New Zealand in Australia

Redman throws his wicket away hitting it down Symonds throat for 83.

3/130 and Hauritz has two wickets from two not very good balls. Hoping he doesn't take a 5-fa and we have to stick with him as he is looking below average.

Lee needs to fix his run up, cost him a wicket with the no ball just before and the guys are looking very comfortable against him. Still aren't impressed and it may be the end of lee I feel.

Re: Hauritz- who's to say the Kiwis wouldn't have gone after Krezja as well though. It seems the current plan by any nation playing us is to try and hit the spinners out of the attack, or if they get wickets, they'll cost plenty! ;)

Re: New Zealand in Australia

Hauritz a spinner?

I haven't seen him turn a ball all innings.

Taylor looks really good, techniqually their best bat by far.

Ball reverse swinging, Aussies have obviously learnt the art of ball tampering...

England won the Ashes because of this. It's about time we learnt to do it.

Re: New Zealand in Australia

Hauritz looks very, very ordinary. He has two wickets but both balls have been poor. First one was almost a half tracker that Ryder should have hit for 4 and the second was caught in the deep. I wish Krejza did pull up okay as I reckon he would have done well here.

3/146, Taylor on 23.

:D

Anyway I see the old ************** is dropping sitters off Hauritz now and Slater has the nerve to say he doesnt miss many, obviously Slater missed the Indian series, hasnt taken a catch off a spinner in a long, long time

Fulton, the strangest batman I have ever seen playing international cricket, gone for 29. NZ are now 4/194

Haha yea I know, theres something odd about the way he bats. it may be the fact hes 6 foot 5, but I think theres something about his style aswell.

Re: New Zealand in Australia

Hayden's 100th test this one. Getting a special trophy presented to him on the field during the tea break.

**** off Taylor out, too high Rudi.

Agree there, too high for mine.

Taylor out for 44, score is 5/200. McCullum the new man in.

Re: New Zealand in Australia

Haurtiz of with a rolled ankle and correct me if I am wrong but it looks like the coach has got the whites on as 12th man....

Re: New Zealand in Australia

6 for 262 at stumps, a bit of a waste for NZ after the position they were in. An early breakthrough tomorrow and it should be over pretty quickly and Australia will be well on top.

Well they would only have Siddle over there and the redbacks are in QLD so probably does

Re: New Zealand in Australia

New Zealand were bowled out for 270, McCullum scored 30 but the rest folded rather quickly. Brett Lee made a mess of the tail taking 4/66.

In reply, Australia are 2/120. Matthew Hayden ran himself out again for 24 and when Katich fell at 23 to Dan Vettori, NZ were right in the game with Australia 2/49. However, the Aussies have consolidated since then through Ponting, who is looking ominous and also Michael Hussey. Ponting's on 57 and Hussey is 15 not out.
