I think that the Cobras will be the ones to watch in all competitions this season.
Very talented team with a few under 21s players.
M.Flinn.
A.Wegener.
B.Wight.
M.Mickleson.
M.Krstitovic.

The whole club looks flying at the moment under a new coach in
Steven Wegener.

Going along the same lines of the Keon Park philosophy blooding the youth and getting that right mix of youth and experience throughout all grades will be a force in many years to come

Micky White's alive and well,
never one to shy away, both with the bat and with his mouth..
spoke to him the other day and reckon's he'll make more runs this year than last year...

how do you boys rate him??
Maybe after the Hernia operation he can get his stomach stapled. Then he can finish off with a visit to the dental hospital.

Dont worry about his defects, 2nd best bat in comp behind plumpton

White's not a cat like Camrea's new gun recruit from the district ranks! I didn't think he was recruited to Camrea to bat at 7. Meow!

Plumpton would have walked to the crease.

Can't believe someone from such a higher level of cricket (getting big $$$) would be sliding down the order. Even Alex headed in for a hit.

I'm sure someone from Main St will say he hurt himself fielding or something... whatever. Weak.

Did not believe it until I checked the scores. The guns all hiding in the shed, Perera, Berak and Bubis. Lucky Mcgann was suspended, he would have been one of the first players to hide in the back room leaving not to many with the pads on. Well done AJ, hope you get a ton and watch whilst the self serving, reason why your club falls over in the finals soft cocks fail. With 25 overs left in a days play players should earn the hard $$$$ not wait to hit the winning runs next week.

just because he's played a handful of so so district games, doesn't automatically make him a better player than guys like jesensek, sampimon and co.

he's obviously hunting the glory by hiding down the order this week.

give him all the wraps you want but i'd take jesensek, samps and co any day of the week.

Here are his stats at district cricket,
ALL SEASONS, ALL GRADES 24 inninngs 432 runs at 25.41 with a highest of 52*
1st XI highest score.....wait for it......25........what a gun

**Must have batted well for his 52* at dowling level and for his 1 half century at subbies for brunswick.

They were talking about White from KP, not Berak.....

my mistake...its for those who pumped his tyres up pre season.

if he's looking for cheap runs he went to right club, alex will do all the hard yards and he'll go out and bat when the game's already in the bag.

Re: NMCA(formerly Jika) '08/'09

The kid at Strathewan would be a lot better if his Dad stopped dragging him around the Comp trying to find someone that actually likes him. He would also be a lot better if he went to a club where he could actually try and further his cricket by striving to play in a higher grade rather than at a club that has no real scope for, A;getting into the top grade, and B;providing a sound learning environment free from the influence of his Dad and his bumboy Jenkins.

Re: NMCA(formerly Jika) '08/'09

i think micky white rates himself more than anyone..haha..
very good player with lots of skill..

Alot of ppl riding Berak off already?? ive seen him play a few times and can turn it on.. but he went hiding on the weekend when it got hot in the kitchen..

Still pick plumton over berak much better all round cricketer..

No question Plumpton is superior, plus he has a ticker. We all heard how great Berak was before the season started and after 3 weeks he's purring!

I just cant believe how guys who have their hand out for cash can be so gutless. I guess if you're on incentives it makes sense to wait for the cheap runs.

You've got to be careful when recruiting I guess. Gutsy cricketers are rare!

I bet he puts Druids, HT, Socials, NU etc to the sword.
