Tubby good to see you back mate I thought you had retired have you been to any cricket this year? Whats your thoughts on the comp at the minute?

Gladyboy, just keeping a low profile
Lots of interesting comments, some r good and some r just crap, however the comp is going well, all sides seem to be up and running and it seems to be very even comp this year.

I agree with the players you named not to have out - maybe hackney at SYD and Russell at ROX but the rest is spot on.
Also your batsmen seem pretty spot on too but i am not sold on rogowski as yet even though he has had a good start, we will see. Erdman and Telford have started well , tripp always in the mix and shephard hits the ball better than anyone in the comp! Other bats are obvious - Markham at gladdy, lee at taylors, hare at paco. Only a matter of time before these guys hit 3 figures and raise the bat!
Spot on call abt young ford , he is going to be a great bowler like his dad.

yeah i could have went with russell koda but i picked kolikowski cause he bowls and bats so that would hurt them more, hackney havent seen enough off but heard he can bat

sorry love, i ment no offence, thats y i said "with all due respect" but you have just taken it the rong way. i never tryed to beat up on a bloke who has been around for years, but u r right, lets tlk about the other great efforts of the round.

any1 see airport west 4ths against jacana 4ths?? phil peel 103 n.o. wat a star chasing 115 are 0 for 135, wood have been good to watch.

yes Obviously i m only a young buck with no experience or very little. even tho i have played over 200 matches myself, have represented the n.w.c.a. on over 30 occasions, and have played in a number of grand finals accross all grades, including luscombe, but obviously no experience.

no i havnt met hocking, but i also have nothin against him, i have as much respect for him that i can give, without meeting the bloke.

as for that list, which is a very nice list mite i add, i actually know majority of the list so the same would not apply.

Phew, i almost ran out of breath there too coz i also get real tired wen i type a few words on a computer

any1 see big peely go on to make 209???? gs wat a star lets all talk about this great effort and other great efforts in the lower grades

Lets keep the talk at luscombe level otherwise it gets ugly at the end of the day thats all that matters. I am rapt when we win a flag at any grade but at the end of the day no one remebers who won Muir or Clissold shield last year unless you played in the winning team or lost in the final. But everyone knows Taylors beat Roxy in Luscombe or even who they beat in the semi to get there.

Its fantastic that this bloke has made 300 runs in two weeks good on him but if he is that good he should step up and play a higher grade rather than smash round 15 year old kids then we would really have something to talk about.
We have had a bloke make 96 and 155 runs in the last two games in Stringer and h doesnt get mentioned and Im sure every club has the same sort of player.

Re: North West Cricket Association

This weeks games Review:

Syd v Paco - if previous results tell you anything, than an upset could be on the cards. For mine syd/hill have it over Paco, and would be an interesting game. Last time played 3, 50's and a 100 to syd/hill in chacing down bout 270 only 3 down on what would be fair to say the worst deck in the comp. (its slow, inconsistant bounce). Paco tho that game, underman with bowling stock, and will look to make a mense!.....My Tip - Paco

Roxy v BP - Roxy struggling at the moment, but they arnt far away, patients at the crease, someone needs to bat a long time, at the moment to many heros in there team, but once they come together and a lil hard work and patients thing might turn. BP talk inhouse will be that the game (last week) was a lil disapointing, but on lookers will say it was a great effort. Although both sides lost they will be have got more out of there game than Roxy last week, both teams keen to go foward this week......My Tip - BP

GP v KGG - GP seemingly too strong, the only thing KGG have going for them is that the game is at GP and 280 will look competitve. KGG should look to bowl first. Gladdy look to bully sides (so they should) and send teams in to bat, intimidate than put doubt that any score made (even 450) will be comfortably chaced down.....My Tip - GP

CCC v TL - Not sure that CCC can make enough runs, but round 1 efforts will be promising that they have some chance of making decent runs. Hassan and Shore look to get into the batsman early, unsettle them. Hassan genuine pace, would be lively with a new ball!! TL look to strong, they wouldnt of been happy 6 down chancing under 120, but its prob fair to say that 6 down is more likey than 1 down, at this level of cricket when chacing small targets. .....My Tip - TL

All the best for the weekend teams!!!

Have to agree with a few of the other blokes here about your attitude GGTC
"sorry love" .Are you gay or what!!!! As for the above quote of yours nobody that has played and done all you have said would have to get on here and shoot their mouth off about their achievments. It would be duly noted by all without having to justify yourself. Insecurity setting in!!!!!!!

As for playing over 200 games that could not possibly be seniors. I'm a member of the 200 club and I can say that in all the years we have our red and black day function I have never come across a bloke who speaks so arrogantly as you.Us blokes enjoy the day catching up with past and present players, having a few beers and a good feed and nobody speaks the way you do.We don't insult each other. Don't get on here and start about the 200 games mate.
Don't go there with that attitude of yours. It is an honour to be part of an elite group of players and we all have earn't the right to be respected as such. Don't belittle us by referring yourself as "one of us" when clearly that is not the case.

When all is said and done will you be there to announce to us all at the Luscombe-Gibbs grand final just who you are? I think not.
I know you'll be itching to reply as soon as you see this, but I'm working night shift this week so I guess I'll have to wait to see your god almighty reply in 24 hours time. Can't wait.NOT Cheers

ah caught out, sounds like ive hit a nerve.
neva did i mention that i was in the red and black club, nor did i say that all 200 games were in the nwca, u have just takin it all the rong way. all i was simply doing was to try and get talk back to a luscombe level, and not all about one individual in f grade. 'its me' simply took it upon herself to put me in my place, but all i did was tell it like it is, and to that she had no reply.

Must agree with the v line, find me a star of the game that doesnt have that arrogance about them.

announce who i m? where is the fun in that, who knows who u r?

You must be the greatest player the NWCA has ever had,For someone who states to playing more than 200 games, 30 rep team games or more, played in every grade including Luscombe and the list goes on and on and on.

Yet your'e not a member of the 200 club !!!!!!! Which bit of manure do you expect us to believe???????

Re: North West Cricket Association

Looks like the scores just keep getting bigger and bigger each week.ROXY 5-379 against BUCKLEY(massive score considering they havent made many so far this year, what a effort by russell in his first game back, can buckley chase down this target,2 massive totals in 2 weeks that they are guna chase.
Taylors 9-313 against CCC(pretty big score for that ground, who made the runs?)would be a big ask for CCC to chase that down but with the grounds the way they are,who knows?.
Out of the other 2 games only heard a score from the glady vs kealba game which was glady all out for 240 and kealba 3-50.(Quite a suprise here, kealba must of bowled well to keep glady to 240 on gladdys ground, very interesting week next week for this game.Could kealba knock gladdy off and cause a major upset in luscombe or will gladdy step up again.Anyone know any details on the score cards.)
Havent heard nothing from the pacco vs sydenham game
