Dhoni said after the match that the dew factor was very important. Shoaib Malik made very wrong decision to bat first and then they got a very less score. I think Malik is not a good captain but Pakistan have already appointed him captain for a year.

India shuld now give chance to Praveen Kumar and Sreesanth in final match. Otherwise it is foolish to have them just in the squad for no reason.

it worries me that my beloved pakistan look lost under malik and his immature captaincy

where is lawson and what is he doing, not much by the look of the games

we miss asif but more so with miss a good captain

come back inzi!

sehwag should have been given chances in the test series. jaffer-karthik might work in this series but im not sure about australia. we need sehwag in form for australia. also im surprised that there is no pathan for the tests. stupid selections.

India have elected to field first. Once again Dhoni's decision was influenced by the dew factor. They've decided to rest Ganguly, Zaheer, Harbhajan and RP Singh. I think they should have rested only 2 players. Giving youngsters a chance is fine, but India should look at winning the match first. A win would boost Pakistan's spirit and thats exactly what India don't want.

Average start by Pakistan, can't see them doing much in this match. Despite being put in charge for a year the pressure must be starting to build on Malik.

I also see that Pakistan have brought Sarfraz Ahmed in for Akmal - will he get a chance in the tests?

bhajji and zak were doing ok they should have played the match. the bowlers are struggling out there

Sreesanth was expensive initially but he's bowling well. Pakistan was going well but 2 quick wickets have changed that. I'm also impressed with Praveen Kumar.

Sreesanth takes another, leaving Pakistan 70/2 off 14.4.

Very impressive debut by Praveen Kumar with good agressive bowling from the other two. Sreesanth has brilliant pace at 140kph but I still think his action leaves a lot to be biomechnically desired.

I wouldn't say so. Both are being rested because they will be pivotal in the Tests and it is a good move.

Sreesanth bowling well by the looks of things (only have cricinfo to go by) - the wicket of Nazir was his 50th in ODI's.

The flurry of wickets has taken the run rate back down to below 5 an over.

Watching it on Sky Sports, in this spell, he is rarely dropping below 140kph and is often around the 142kph region. The length is consistant and the variation in line is all within a good range. He is getting good bounce and carry too.

A now bald Sehwag is on to bowl.

yousuf and malik are settling in now. we need a quick wicket soon or the game will drift away. in the absence of bhajji the spin is not as effective.

The Pakistan batsmen are batting well now. We need a wicket desperately or they will get 300 easily.
Uthappa and Rohit Sharma are good fielders but they need to hit the stumps with direct hit. There was 1 or 2 close chances.

2 quick wickets reduced the scoring rate a bit, but Pakistan should easily reach 300.

306 is a good score but the pitch is a belter and there will be dew in the evening so India has a good chance of chasing it. praveen kumar was very promising. in the death overs under pressure he was varying the balls better than our regular bowlers.

India are in trouble at 60 odd for 4! Maybe not taking the game as seriously as they should with the series in the bag?

Good knock by Malik, over a run a ball in the end and Yousef supported well. Feel that from here, Pakistan should win.

the situation is very bad for india now. i think you are right that they didn't take this game seriously because they already won the series and that is really foolish.

Rohit sharma and yuvi are still there so we have hope. I hope they get a good partnership like malik and yousuf otherwise game over :(
