South Africa in Australia

Re: South Africa in Australia

Ponting is just a class player. I love watching him bat, no matter what the circumstances. Not sure how he got caught out like that, but really he's done well. We shouldn't be relying on him to save us at this point anyway.

Yeah, I agree. Another couple of batsman should have made 50+, just to relieve the pressure off him.

Imagine how much pressure Johnson and Hauritz are feeling right now.

agreed... would have been happy if hayden or katich or pup or haddin all played their dismissal shots when on 99......

shame but gutsy innings. Might have played it a little smarter in hindsight.

Ponting? Of course he should have. Along the ground FFS.

New ball in three overs. Could make trouble.

Four runs for Johnson. Close to a six.

also a shame because the new ball could have bought alot of runs.... needed the captain to make 150.....

This cricket team need to remember how to bat for draws. Borders teams would have never had played the shot haddin, katich hayden or ponting played.

Hmm. Gotta hope when the new ball comes we are lucky with edges and stuff.

Clark, when he comes back, and Johnson are good enough, IMO.
