South Africa in Australia

Re: South Africa in Australia

Punter is due for a big one as well.

Prince has a crack in the thumb, normal recovery is 10 days, unlikely for Boxing Day test.

Re: South Africa in Australia

The vultures are going to start circling soon with Hayden.

Ponting gone first ball!!

Ah Crap.

Re: South Africa in Australia

and a near run out.

No need for risky singles at 3/15 inside the first hour of a test match.

Looks like your prediction of Australia winning against South Africa is going to be wrong.

I predicted Australia 2-1 in the series and i'll stick by that.

Anyway you predicted this match to be a draw so you'll also be wrong.

My prediction could end up being wrong as well. I have gone with South Africa winning 2-1 against the Aussies.

It could be South Africa 3 - zip.

Won't be.

You simply can't expect a team of kids to beat a team of experience players.

Sure the South Africans are getting the aussies playing at the ball on the up but you have to live with that.
Our defences are down especially when we know that South Africa have gotten 3 of our key men out.
Remember the india series over in India, the guys were too strong for us and beat us with experience.

Team of kids?

Hayden - 37
Katich - 33
Ponting - 33 (Turning 34 Friday)
Hussey - 33
Clarke - 27
Symonds - 33
Haddin - 31
Lee - 32
Krejza - 25
Johnson - 27
Siddle - 24

Far from a team of kids. Plenty of experience in that side.

Re: South Africa in Australia

Nothing to suggest the Aussie bowlers cant do the same thing, SA have always been mentally weak

Irrelevant, you said "a team of kids" which is incorrect.

Most of the players have years of domestic and county experience and the very least.

The only players of real inexperience would be Siddle and Krejza. Krejza proved he is up to the standard in India and Siddle was fantastic last season domestically.
